I am so excited I could burst!! I always enjoy games at the Dome and will be right next to where the Boys come out of the locker room. If there weren't stairs getting in my way I would so wheel in there. I'm going to be there at 10 AM when doors open so I am sure to get a good spot!

I got my tickets off ebay tonight for $195. Dad and I are splitting the trip. He is a Vikings fan first. He does like and watch the Cowboys, but born and raised in Minnesota this will be one week he is not cheering on the Boys. Might be a long truck ride home!

Anyone else going?

Kristi, I had a feeling you'd be going. I'm glad you get your front row seating, again. No Woodson this time but I bet you'll have just as much fun.

Congrats, have fun & yell your *** off for the Boys :D

I might be going if my friends dad can find some tickets. Some are going for like >$400 a pop! and I live in better Sioux. as in Sioux City.

Try not to be overly terrified by the completely deplorable nature of the stadium. There are fleas, guns sold in the place of food at the concessions and stacks of bricks for seats. Only the strongest make it out alive.

Ive been to the Metrodome a couple of times back in the late 90's. I thought it was a real nice place. Better than some stadiums I visited.

I don't get the whole GHETTO thing these Vikes players are trying to play up.

thanh123 - ebay had some insane starting bids. One guy had a starting bid for $2K and I think it was for one or two tickets. Wow. Those better be some good seats.

Good luck in finding tickets even though you live in Sewer City. ;)

Go Big D -- it took some arm twisting of dad this time, but when the floor seats opened up he was more inclined to say YES! :D

I did go back and forth -- the bars are going to be insane around here and I know a lot of Cowboys fans so it would be fun here, but I can't pass up going to a playoff game. I live by the words "you only live once" because I have had a few close calls in my life and I do not want to miss anything I would like to do. The bars and my friends will be there for the next game. This is too good to pass up! Plus, I haven't missed a Cowboys game in MN in years!! It would kill me to be at a bar watching them and knowing they were less than 5 hours away!

Rainman -- I'm as tough as they come. I'm ready for the "hood"!! Word Homie - Peace Out! (that's probably wrong -- I'm not up on the hood lingo) :lmao:

If that is what you need to try and get some emotion into your team. I can think of some actual real reasons to lift my team than comparing my home stadium to the Cowboys stadium.

What you are saying is your home stadium is a POS, pretty much.

Please do not burst! I half a question fer yew.

Didn't the Metrodome onct be named after Humbert Horatio Humphrey, the talkity senertor from Minnisoda? The metrodome i here is filled with hot air to expand it.

If so, I onct heard that the metro dome was namet after old Humbert H. Humprey the vice president because he tended to be full of hot airs and stuff.

is it named the HHH metrodome?

I've been to the Metrodome many times and it's FAR from HOOD. The nicest, sweetest people work there. It's not even that old. 1982 wasn't that long ago. I like the older buildings though and I deeply miss Texas Stadium. Haven't been to Jerry World yet so I can't compare, but Texas Stadium would be more hood than the Dome.

Yes, it's Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome. http://www.msfc.com/ They actually call it Mall of America Field now though. A big gust of wind sucks you in and blows you out. That sounds naughty!! ;) :p:
