big mike is so much better than JG. it’s the little things that matter. that timeout he called inorder to get his pass rush out there at the end of the game makes a difference. JG was so caught up on next man up, he would allow things like that to slide. yes MM isn’t the best but he is an upgrade.

The biggest plate of crow is on your view of the Vikings offense. Either they are terrible or we have the 85 Bears defense. Cousins is a joke in prime time again. They are not a complete offense.

Not really dishing crow but I wish folks would realize that watching a guy play with 3rd & 4th stringers in the preseason doesn't provide a very good evaluation. The whole picture can change with a better supporting cast.

That being said, anyone would be quite lucky to play with this supporting cast right now and that includes Dak and every other starter in the league.

Maybe it’s both. That’s not a bad offense. They didn’t play great tonight but the Cowboys defense did play very well. Doesn’t mean our D is the 85 bears. And it doesn’t mean their offense is bad. It’s not always black and white/either or.

Your not going to hear anything from me. I didn’t think Rush could lead us to a win either. I figured out defense was good enough, but didn’t think we would be able to outscore the Vikings. MM didn’t do anything unusual, which is a good thing. Bottomline.. I was surprised and impressed. I’m not going to eat crow though.. as I imagine most reasonable thinking fans felt the same way. Rush has proved anything up to this point. So kudos to him. He deserves a “atta boy” and recognition.

As I’ve always said, Cousins is talented but he’s not a winner and he never will be. He is not clutch and is not a leader. He’s only good when things are going well.

I'm definitely starting to turn the corner on MM. Comparison to Garrett is almost silly, because he set the bar too low.

Biggest sign of a well coached team, how do the backups play? MM is doing a great job with this team. They have a clutch, next man up feel to them they haven’t had in 25 years.

This team is no longer 1 player. I saw it after a few games this season and we saw it in a big way tonight. This is what a winning culture looks like. We have the players to take us to the promised land this year. Sit back and enjoy the ride.

I love this point of view, I am still not completely sold on it, but I am coming around to this defense is one that is not able to be quantifed by stats. They are just doing what they need to do to win their battle.

I really like the way this team is being built.
