He also didn't make an impact on ST so it limits his current skill set. PS is not a bad thing for him.

Well, Spencer is awful in pass coverage... You can't expect every pass rusher to be a Demarcus Ware, You gotta rock with the flaws. Screw special teams i'd want him on the field sacking the qb.

I believe this was the case, too, although I did see some ST potential when he was out there.

He flashed pass-rush ability, but I think he needed to show more there to make up for his faults. If he had been racking up sack after sack, pressure after pressure, he would have been impossible to cut.

I was in favor of keeping him, but I can understand Dallas not doing it.

Hamilton wasn't even consistent rushing the passer. He had flashes but then would disappear completely at times. He wasn't going to push for playing time anyways with what he demostrated in the preseason.

ST is what separates the bottom of the roster guys. Church is the greatest example of how a player made in an impact on ST and then learned how to play his position and then makes the next step by demostrating that he can be a starter. Hamilton needs work, and the practice squad is a great avenue for him to learn his position.

I've always liked Lemon. I thought he should have made the roster over Brooking last year, he certainly outplayed him but Albright's move to ILB was a solid move and he's been performing well enough to warrant being the 4th ILB.

Most fans just saw the flashes of getting to the QB and think that is all a player needs to do . The hell with gap integrity, setting the edge to force a ball carrier out side no of that matters as long as he looks good hitting the QB.

I thought Atkins played better than I expected him to. I think a lot of us were enamored with Hamilton, but I can't say he outplayed Atkins. Atkins was the more active player overall, while they appeared to get a similar amount of pressure.

One of the dumbest cuts I've seen in a long time. Absolutely stupid.

I'm sort of reminded of being up 24 points in the 3rd quarter and calling pass plays or thinking you only have 10 players out there when you actually have eleven and call a time out right before your kicker makes the game winning FG only to, in effect, ice your own kicker who then misses and you end up losing in OT, or playing Romo in a meaningless game against Philly the week before the do-or-die Giants game and watching him hurt his hand...

Just when you think they've had a good camp and are looking pretty good, here come the goofy, unexplainable cuts.
