I'm just going to say what everyone has thought about at some point

This may be a little harsh, but you can't tell me that this thought hasn't crossed your mind in the past 5 years.

"The Cowboys won't be successful until Jerry Jones is dead."

It's harsh and obviously no one wants this to happen, but in terms of the team being successful GM and head coach wise, Jerry will have to be gone.

"I don't intend to be trite, but I don't see it happening at this juncture. I've recently invested lots of money in some life preserving medicine. At this point the determination is that I'll be here for another 100 years"

Nope never gave it a thought, I always thought the Cowboys will not be a playoff team (not just making it their to be one and done) until the curse of Randy Moss retires.

If not for Jimmy Johnson this organization would have seen 20 years of futility and mediocrity during Jerry's ownership and management. Jerry is still living off something Jimmy did 20 years ago.

He is the worst GM in pro football wiith the exception of Al Davis.

resigned myself this to this after hard knocks. I tell my buddies all the time that I wish his son would give him a nudge down the stairs. Of course NONE of us want to see that happen....but I would like to think that NO ONE in this organization thought it was a good idea to give up that much for Roy Williams other than Jerry. If a scout, coach or front office person suggested this to Jerry...the person should be fired. Also, no one could have told Jerry to pay through the nose for Jason Garrett but Jerry..that had to be his idea and his idea alone. Because both guys are being compensated like they are the best at what they do...and truth is, they are average.

What about the GMs of the Eagles, Chargers, Lions, and the rest of the team GMs that never won anything.

The Cowboys are just real average..win one, lose one.

I think the mystique of the Cowboys is priceless but unfortunately the teams we have fielded for some years just fall flat.
