I'm liking this draft

Zeke
Collins
Dak
Brown

And that doesn't even take into account the potential huge impact Jaylon Smith could have and hopefully Tapper as a contributor.

I wasnt thrilled with the Elliott pick at first. Not because I didnt think he would be productive, but because of what we already had. However, he is really starting to find his game and grinds out yards. Im still waiting for that signature long TD run, but with Romo being out having a productive running game makes a big difference as he takes a lot of pressure off Dak. Im becoming a fan of the pick!

Collins has played well when hes out there and has been disruptive. Even if he develops into a solid starter thats fine for a 3rd round pick, but he looks better than that already.

Brown had a nice game filling in for Scandrick and has shown promise to potentially be a future starter. Still a lot of work to do, but even if he just develops into a nickle corner he will be a nice find. I really like his physicality and aggressiveness.

Regarding Dak, its amazing a 4th round rookie QB started his career 3 and 1 so far. Great decisions with the ball for the most part and has managed the game well. I may get some slack for this but hes playing very much like a more atheltic Alex Smith. Im sure hell continue to improve his game and well see me long pass completitions, but what a start. Very impressive so far.

Jaylon Smith? If he can get on the field and play at a high level this draft could be legendary if everyone continues to progress.

Plus you always get guys with the physical skills (like Leary) who develop after a year or two. We have several of those guys like Darius Jackson, Kavon Frazier, Rico Gathers, WR Andy Jones, etc.

The team is doing a very good job of acquiring talent. There is no doubt about it.

I keep praying to 8lb 6oz baby Jesus that Jaylon's nerve fires-up and allows him to play in 2017. As good as Zeke and Dak have been and look to be in the future plans, Jaylon would have been the difference maker out there in these games, especially the outside plays. If he can start in 2017, there's no doubt that this draft will be talked about for years. I've been stoked about that kid, in particular.

What's the news on Jaylon Smith if there is any?

This draft could be the epic, franchise turning draft we've been hoping for. I'm liking this draft too.

I saw Collins taken a crap load of double teams , when Lawrence gets back he should go back to singlecteams

I don't think this team is a playoff team because of the defense.

But the emergence of Collins and the return of Tank could be huge.

Might be huge enough for the Cowboys to trade for some more help on that DL.

You just never know.
