I know, my first mistake. But anyway, Colin is on saying they have a great story out of Atlanta but can't talk about it yet because of company policy and letting the issue play out first. Quite interesting don't you think? CNNSI and CBS Sportsline already have stories about Vick on their websites but good ole ESPN is gonna wait. Nice to see their journalistic responsiblity, selective though it may be. No unitendified sources for them. Good job ESPN. I salute you.

He also said something about another story coming out of Atlanta that will be very similar to the Heidi Fliess story involving several pro atletes. He said this story will be out soon.

However...if it was a TO related story, they would have it all over the place and FILL IN THE BLANKS on info they didn't have.

I wouldn't doubt it. Suddenly ESPN has morals before reporting. Maybe they actually learned somthing from TO. Who knows

ESPN's company policy is to claim "we had it first, but we decided to let it play out before breaking it" whenever any other source beats them to a story.

I heard on CNN Headline News not to long ago Mike Vick was stopped by airport security for a strange water bottle that he had. After security looked at the bottle more closely they discovered it had another chamber at the bottom. When they opened up the chamber they found a residue that resembeled marijuana. No charges had been made as of this time.

If it does test positive for THC, then, while it would not fall under substance testing, the commish could invoke a suspension re possession. But with high-priced lawyers, it's likely Vick could dance away with no sanctions. What a great country!:D

He's referring to the call girl story NOT Vick...

No, he was referring to the Vick story. Halfway through his show, Cowherd said that his bosses finally gave the go ahead that he could talk about the Vick story.

Yet if he was a Dallas Cowboy, he would likely get a 4 game suspension for being stopped by security for anything remotely resembling an illegal substance.

What a great league! :D

This story has nothing to do with Vick. The guilty party is a guy named something Mexico.

When will Michael Vick wake up and drop the foolishness... The apple doesn't fall too far from the tree, see Marcus Vick.

Maybe he "forgot" it was there, kind of like how Switzer forgot about the gun !!

I have a similar policy. I know what Bill parcells is going to announce and when he is going to announce it regarding his desicision to return to the Cowboys in 2007. However, CowboyJeff policy prohibits me from releasing any further information until the story plays out further. I broke the story, so nobody else can beat me to it.

Anyone remember a few years back when the Eagles got busted because it was found out there were peepholes drilled into the cheerleaders' lockerroom?

Don't know what made me think of that.
