I gotta admit. I was a little down earlier in the week looking at all of these low power rankings and even hearing some of our fans just constantly bash this team.

I think it is funny that all these media people insisted that we had to get rid of TO and that we would be better without him but now when push comes to shove they all think we are a worse team because 81 is gone.

All I hear is Witten will be doubled, Romo is nothing without TO, yada yada yada.

I just can't wait for Sunday when we can start to prove all of these guys wrong because I know we still have an excellent team.

They just really have no clue about guys like Felix Jones, and Marty B.

Plus they have all written of Roy Williams as some kind of horrible receiver that is just completely uncapable of making any kind of plays what so ever.

Also I hope the Giants whip the Skins this week and are flying high when they come to Big D in week 2. Im ready for the gloves to come off.

Just stay focused and enthused Cowboys and we will have a big year.

Hopefully you are right.

Or some of these threads will be hilarious (and depressing) to re-read mid season.

I really don't mind, at all, people hating us. They can hate on us every single moment, of every single day, for their entire lives.

Jeremy Green from scouts inc actually had us finishing last in the division and as the 19th best team in the league.

People have gone mad because TO isn't hear.

If TO is as good as they have made him out to be than Buffalo will win the NFC EAST this year.

Im sorry but Romo is still going to get his and imo he is still the best QB in this division.

The Eli love has gotten a little rediculous and i've been one of the few who thought Eli took to much heat early in his career and that he was actually a solid player.

But since he hung on to his defenses coat tails to win a Superbowl he is all of a sudden the best QB ever outside of his brother and Brady.

Dallas may not win the superbowl but for people to think we are just a garbage team now just shows their hate.

I cant wait for Sunday. Goose picks the Bucs? Idiot!

I love the hate. I want people to overlook us and say we suck. I can honestly say "I don't care" whether we get credit or not. All I'm concerned about is what my team does on the field.

The nature of most of the "analysts" is to piggy back on pieces of what they've heard anyway. When I hear Warren Sapp basically say Ware will have a tough time because we no longer have Canty, I know he's talking out his ***.

When I hear, I think it was Marshall Faulk, question our secondary because we no longer have Pacman or Anthony Henry, I know he's talking out of his ***.

If, however, I hear just one guy say "Dallas needs to just get consistent OL play, play smart (clean up the penalties, Romo seriously limit the impulsive plays), and steady secondary play, then they will be there at the end," I'll be a little impressed - just a little - because clearly he will know what he is talking about.

But whether that happens or not, what is said by these guys makes no difference to me. At all. More often than not, I smile. Because at the end of the day, when we secure another Lombardi, no one will remember what they said or didn't say and it won't matter then either.

Those guys really said that? Wow.

Exactly. Nothing wrong with criticism, but please make it reasonable.

It's going to feel that much worse if Dallas doesn't get it done this year because all of the clowns will be justified.

We will have to be pretty bad to justify their opinions because they make it sound like we are a completely inept team.

Mike Mayock has been on TA more often. He said something to the effect of " I don't know why people are overlooking Dallas"

Mayock knows, and as an aside he blows the rest of the NFLN analysts out of the water imo.

right on - until the team does it's talking on the field, this is only gonna get worse. If they take care of business, it might shut these guys up.

Until then...enbrace the hate

It's going to be funny when all these guys see the type of back Felix Jones is.

He is our Ace in the hole.

I don't see us becoming analysts favorites this season. But we will play well enough to have a chance in the end.

9-7. I'n not sure how that might quality one as a clown or a hater. That places us squarely where we were last year. We havn't improved anything significantly enough to imagine anything more. We haven't regressed by getting rid of TO, et al... If Red can somehow piece together multiple logical thoughts we can attain 9-7 by spreading it around and letting our young weapons grow during the season.

9-7 is what I see... No hatred.. Just guarded optimism mixed with a ton of humility...
