I'm not so sure that isn't true right now either lol
The 49ers might be the best team in the league right now, but not the Cowboys. That was proven against the Cardinals. We’re good when we have the lead with plenty of breathing room. We’re not very good when we get punched in the mouth and have to play from behind. At least that’s been the case so far this season.

The best game I have ever been to is the 1992 NFC title game at the old Candlestick Park. I have been to.... probably the last 4 or 5 Cowboys Niners games. I live about 90 minutes from Levi Stadium, so the Niner rivalry runs deep in these parts. Somewhere we have a picture of our neighbor driving a big wheel to work because he lost a bet in the 1981 NFC title game.

For me, this is a special game. This game goes back to when I was but 11 years old.... further back for you old farts...lol This is the game where I will actually load up the suburban with the barbecue, generator, 50 inch tv and start tailgating as soon as the parking lot opens. So yea... Im moving on the the 49ers.

Go Cowboys!
This has always been one of my favorite rivalries.

The most painful Dallas Cowboys game I ever watched was the 1994 NFC Title game.

I hope we are able to beat SFO. We probably will be playing them twice, and I'd like that second game to be at home.

The 1992 team that won the Super Bowl was 3-0 and played the Eagles in week 5 and got punched in the mouth and lost 31-7.

Our 92 team got punched in the mouth by an excellent 3-0 Eagles team. The Cowboys were underdogs in that game. They didn’t get punched in the mouth by an 0-2 team that was a 2 touchdown underdog.

They finished 11-5 that season and won their last four games of the season. They went on to win a playoff game. That was a very good team, but by the end of the season the Cowboys were better. We ended up knocking them out of the playoffs.
