How do you not run flea flickers when you have the best O Line & a dominant back? It's madness not to take advantage of the other teams over commitment to stop the run. This is why I wish Parcells was around to influence JG on trick plays. Parcells would use trick plays as a regular play just to keep the safety honest. Even if they dont work it helps keep that safety honest. Run a couple flea flickers every game. Not because you want the huge chunk of yards but because you want to keep that safety back.
Vikings had an unproven Keenan throwing the ball, how did that work out? Before last season I don't think their wr corp was considered strong.
The Rams wr corp before last season?
You load the box, now I'm also presenting Dak as a runner on every play. That's the beauty of RPO's and having a qb that can run, now it's 11 on 11 and not 11 on 10.
Teams will not be able to just take away the run and disregard the WRs, no matter who the WRs are, that's a myth.
Single coverage on the outside receivers and tight end, bracket coverage on Beasley, both of which allow an extra man in the box, until the receivers prove they can beat it and Dak shows he can burn them for it.
It doesn't matter if we believe in him. What matters is that he produces. I think he will, I hope he does, he better freaking do it!!!! Lol!No matter how you look at it, it all boils down to if you believe in #4

The bad part is it's there all day. Great thing about this year is we have great route runners to take advantage of the single coverage. Plus adding speed with Austin and Thompson will improve that as well. Jerry talked about play calling and scheme after the eagles win the Superbowl so I expect a changeHow do you not run flea flickers when you have the best O Line & a dominant back? Kinda early for teams to admit they are scared to face our RB. I would think the staff would note that they will more than likely be facing defenses stacking the box against us.
No, it doesn't. Prescott plays a big role, but it's not ALL on him, that's ridiculous. The passing offense (Dak included) struggled last season as did the O line. But when Elliott was in the game he still put up 100 per game. So, teams can stack the box (An overused phrase IMO) all they want. If our line is healthy, good luck stopping Elliott.Yep.
Teams will stack the box against Elliott, and prevent Dak from rolling to his right. Dak will have to beat single coverage consistently from the pocket.
EVERYTHING this season depends entirely on Dak's ability to play quarterback at a professional level. That's why the offense is going to be changed to a much more similar version of what he did at Mississippi State.
The oline isn't just going to pancake every defender every play, be realistic. Sounds like you're ready to blame them for someone's failures if they're not doing just that. (Not saying your doing that, it just comes off as completely unrealistic expectations)It really is about he Oline, if they're what we think, stacked boxes or not, we will move the ball.
