I'm not that concerned about these Veterans' injuries, and that's because it gives our younger receivers and kickers time to work their stuff in pre-season. Year after year we hear veterans from around ther league complain about camp and preseason and I tend to agree with them. For veterans it's less necessary; the pre-season and camp mean more for younger guys trying to make a team and getting needed game reps in preseason that they'l never get in the regular season. Our young kickers and receivers are getting that as we speak, and as a rsult, guys like Hurd are being discovered and groomed. So as slong as Crayton, TO, Vanderjacht, etc. can get healthy enough to contribute in the regular season then I would consider these injuries a bleassing in disguise.

I somewhat agree with your point but those vets that are hurt at the moment are old.

Glenn and T.O. are 32 and 33 years old. The Drunken Kicker is like 35 or 36 or so. Our QB is 33 or 34. They are going to break down sooner than later.

I am just praying for one more good year out of all of them.

Adam Schefter on NFL Network just mentioned Vanderjagt as a possible surprise cut in two weeks. We'll see.

whats funny abuot it, is peope actaully think, that the first time Jerry opens up his wallet and buys a kicker, we cut him, because he has a few injuries we're gonna cut one of the most accuarte kickers in the game. the Media these days
