I hope it is a hard fought fun game to watch. And definitely no injuries for either team.

The Giants' defensive players are actually playing scared. They are playing scared for their jobs. With Osi and Robbins being benched, it apparently was an eye opener. We will see if that works for them or against them. They may be scared to make a mistake and miss assignments because of it by over thinking. And apparently, Osi's day with the Giants could be numbered. That will take care of itself after the season.

I think the bigger thing today that will decide the game is the Giants' O vs. Cowboys' D. The Cowboys are going to score points and make plays. The question is, can the Giants' offense get themselves together. The Giants' OLine forgot how to play all of a sudden. One of the better units in the league has suddenly become obsolete. A big part of Jacobs' problems this year isn't even him, it is the OLine.

We'll see if the Giants can handle the Cowboys. And if the Cowboys December swoon starts today. I have a bad feeling it won't. And even though the Cowboys have a very tough December schedule the rest of the way, it is going to take an A effort from the Giants to start it today.

I will be here after the game regardless of who wins. See you guys later.

The bigger thing or bigger question today will be, "Can Dallas play as well as they did last September MINUS the turnovers"? If fortune favors Dallas in that regard, this game will not even be close.

I wish your team no injuries as well. That's all I can say. I will hurt myself saying anything more.:

I think the big problem with the Giants is they are content with what they have done and are not giving the kind of effort they have in the past. Big changes could be in the offering if this is how they finish out the season.

There is an article on how the defensive players are playing scared for their jobs.

Fear can sometimes be a great motivator for athletes. If that's the case for the Giants, it could prove more helpful in their execution than harmful. Still, I do not believe that positive results from fear motivated play for the Giants can overcome Dallas' execution should they play well.

:signmast: This.

Good to see a reasonable Giants fan come in here though!

I'm with you on the injuries though, Tom..... but I can't say that I don't want to see Eli spend most of the afternoon on the ground.

Agreed. This game is tough enough already, not to wish injury in addition. Good luck and a good game as well.

I don't believe in dealing with men, with a rough hand and intimidation. Coughlan has stayed there, and doesn't mind getting into the faces of his players as if they were teenie boppers. I hope that the effects are seen by the Giants themselves. I wouldn't give him my all, but I'd continue to perform on the field...in their place. This just isn't right somehow.

I concur in hoping for an injury-free game. Though Brandon Jacobs is one player who is very, very close to changing my normal stance on injuries. :laugh2: I am almost to the point that I hope for an injury to him so he will shut his big mouth.

Nah, not really. I hope it is an injury-free day and I, sincerely, hope your Giants lose. Badly.

Another big part is that he runs like a little girl unless his offensive line can open up a four lane highway for him.

Since we're wishing, I wish the stupid officials would make ONE....JUST ONE....holding call on the Giants.

They're the only team in the NFL that's allowed to hold on every freaking play!

It cost us a TD on the Jacobs play....
