I'm the same way.

As much as I buy into the 'every game is a must win' theory, this game was much more important to New York heading into today. My philosophy, as I posted, was that a win could help solidify us as a legitimate contender. Contending teams win games like today's. Fringe playoff teams don't. We're clearly more of a fringe playoff team than we are a contender right now. Perhaps that changes. Maybe it doesn't.

Either way, my worry about losing today was that it makes next week a must win. You can't have a two-game losing streak heading into New Orleans. You simply can't. But today's loss is mitigated with a win next week. It's magnified with a loss.

they're soft except for a handful of players. this whole defense is soft. when do we ever play with the intensity and nastyness that the 3 other defenses in this division play with? this o-line is a bunch of *****es who stop doing their job every December. smh

Our D messed up today but that doesn't mean they are terrible. If we lose next weekend then I will agree we are in alot of trouble.

Ratliff like him but he disapears in December and it looks like it's happening again. other than the play where he stripped Bradshaw he got manhandled today.

Jenkins I like him. kinda nasty and a pretty physical corner. yeah he's not soft.

Brooking basically the only guy in out front 7 who comes even close to getting nasty. yet he's 34 and will be gone in a year or 2.

Agree with you on everything except Ratliff. He usually comes to play every game including December.
