Let me start off by saying that I have been going through some tough situations in the past 4 months with these drivers who are from sudan. I don't care what anyone thinks of me or the comments that I am about to make.
1. I believe that all people from Sudan are dangerous.
2. They are ticking time bombs.
3. They are dishonest, rude, and trouble makers.
The reasoning behind my opinion is this...
2 months ago I was driving my cab during the evening shift and I heard my dispatcher give another driver (sudan driver) a call to pick up a customer. 5 minutes later the driver calls back into dispatch saying that the customer was not there. 30 seconds later Im driving down the area where the other driver supposedly did not pick up and see him pass me with the customer in his vehicle. So, I call into dispatch and tell them the driver lied and he did pick up.
Because of this the driver can not hold his 1st out in that zone to get the next call. I was next up in line to get the next call. 10 mintues later the dispatch comes back over the radio and calls that same driver to pick up another customer. I WAS ANGRY and called into the office telling them that it should have been my call and not the other drivers as he already picked up earlier.
Dispatch came back over the radio and advised the other driver to disregard the call and not to pick up that it was coming to me to get the call. The driver then said he didnt care and was going to pick up anyways. AGAIN, I was pissed but let it go as I can let my supervisor know about it in the morning. About an hour later I was diving down the street and saw that driver parked at a convenience store. I proceeded to pass him up when he rolls down his driver side window, sticks his arm out a flips me the bird. ***? why did he do this when he was the one who stole my trip. At this point I was completely pissed and did a 90 degree turn a round and pulled into the parking lot next to him and yelled at him that he was an immature child for doing that and he was wrong for what he did. He then started cussing at me and I then stopped my cab got out and when I did this he got out of his cab and started walking towards me with a screw driver in his hand that was about 8 inches long.
I then defended myself by putting up both my hands and pushing him back which caused him to trip over himself and fall back. He then called the police and they came out and I told the police I was defending myself. The other driver (Sudan) pulls up his pants leg and shows the cop his knee where it was scaped and bleeding. The cop said "Here in America, we call that a BOO BOO" I laughed and the cop said for us to get in our cabs and go home. I went home and the next day reported it to my boss, which he did nothing about.
I warned my boss many times to fix the problems that have been brewing in this company by drivers staeling other drivers trips, lying about their locations, complaints from customers about these sudanese drivers, etc. I told him if he didnt put a stop to this something seroious is going to happen. Maybe a driver getting seriously hurt.
Now to get to my story that happened about an hour and a half ago.
I got a call to pick up one of our regular customers getting off of work from Sonic. I picked her up and proceeded to take her to the motel that she lives in about a mile down the street. As I am driving I come up behind one of the cab drivers that I have been having alot of issues with. All of a sudden he slams on his brakes so hard that his back end of his car goes up. I slam on my brakes which causes my car to slide, nearly hitting him from behind by inches.
I then pull around to the righ of him and start to yell at him (words I cant type) and ask him *** are you doing? You almost caused an accident and for what? He then keeps yelling at me as I pass by him. I then pull into the motel parking lot to drop the customer off when the other driver pulls in next to me and proceeds to get out of his car. I then do the same and he begins to start swinging at me. I naturally defend myself by swing at him and it's on now. I get him into a headlock and he begins to grab my shirt and rip it off me.
After about 2 minutes we brake up and he runs to his cab to call the police, mind u he is the one that instigated the whole thing. I then yell at him and call him a cat name if you catch my drift. While he is on the phone he goes to the back of his cab, opens up the trunk and pulls out a big blue bolt cutter. He then comes running at me with them swinging at me. What do I do? well I run.. I am not that stupid.
Then the idiot takes a swing witht he weapon at my drivers side window and smashes it. Then he swings at my windshield and smashes it, then to my front hood. Meanwhile 5-6 cop cars pull up and hand cuff him but then take them off him sdaying they cant arrest him because he said he was defending himself. ***? defending himself? The police officer gave me the driver info and told me to take it to the magistrates office and file a warrent fo his arrest for assault with a weapon and property damage.
I proceed to the police department and did so so I hope he gets what coming to him. I will then get a lawyer tomorrow and sue him for the damge to my car and also for time off of work. Then Im going to sue my boss for be neglegent about the whole mess when I asked him several times to fix these problems that I have been having with the sudan drivers and he did nothiing!!
Here is the damages to my car and I took a picture of the idiot coming at me with the bolt cutter though its abit blurry.
What is your opinion on what I should do or how I should persue this matter?
