We started 19 different players on the "D" Line, we were down to no reserve Linbackers...Show me one other team hit nearly that bad!

the difference is key players who amke a difference, i dont care if you have 50 players out, if they couldnt play on another team, their loss means NOTHING. How many key players did we lose where you would say OMG we so need that player, 1, Lee? Clairborne was a complete waste, Carter, useless, who on defense that we lost would amount to a hill of beans on another team?

This team is not that close to really good. Our better players are getting older(some with injury concerns), some younger players don't have a clue and we will lose some other important players.

We will probably be saddled with poor coaching(mainly Garrett) again and Jerry will still be in control of his toy.

We will not see much difference next season except a few new bodies who most will be journeymen. Dallas is stuck in Purgatory and I don't see the light at the end of the tunnel yet.

At least this team is entertaining..........................

They need major help on defense, injuries made it worse...Ratliff screwed us and not having Spencer hurt.

they are not as close as you think. They still have:
1) QB who doesn't elevate his game in critical elimination games.
2) RB who is prone to injury
3) Coach who isn't confident
4) GM that would have been fired by all 32 NFL teams if he wasn't also owner.
5) Salary Cap guru who doesn't understand age and player degradation in contract negotiations.

This franchise is 120 and 120 for past 14 years because they are out-coached, out-GMed and out-performed on field because its philosophy is being guided by person who should be in therapy not running a franchise.

 

[Future]

Its easy to root for this team, because they are underdogs and they plya hard. Having said that, I don't think proud is exactly the word I would use for this ineptitude.
