Right now, Julius is near the top in the league for rushers with 100 yds per game, give or take, and our run game is really good and solid. But it also isn't scaring anyone right now - our run game hasn't bailed us out, we haven't run all over the field on them yet. They are getting a solid performance, 4 yds here, 3 there, 10 again, etc. Knicking at them.

Julius is very talented and is starting to find his groove the way we know he can. I am finished with Bledsoe, but I am not the coach so I know that we will see him Monday night. We can't just squeak past the good teams, and NY is starting to gel into one of those. Now is the time that our running game needs to really take over, open up the PA, etc.

I prescribe a heavy dose of Julius Jones at home on national TV in primetime on Monday. I want to see JJ take it to the giants and rush for a cool 150 with a 40 yard run mixed in there somewhere. He has shown consistency this year so far, now I want to see one of his explosion games that we seem to get about 3 times a season. I want Jones to outshine Tiki and get that RockStar thing that night.

Plus, I want Carolina to cower at the idea of having to play us the next week.

The weakness on the Giants DL is up the middle. I think that's been our strength on running. It's very possible JJ has a big game Monday night.

Something about Jones makes me excited on Monday night, the same way I used to get excited about Irvin or Sanders in primetime. He just strikes me as the guy who can take our offense over if he needs to on the big stage. I hope so - if he does, I think we could do some damage to the NYFG.

He's due for one of his monster games. Monday night would seem like a good night to have one.

Has JJ broke any for a long touchdown like Emmit used to? I can't remember any this year or last.

Julius tends to have those monster games ON THE ROAD, so Carolina had better take note (circa last season). That being said, I'd love to see him really tear it up at Texas Stadium. The only time he did that at home was the Thanksgiving game when Henson was the QB. He did that famous "JuJo Juke" run against the Bears and I remember thinking to myself, "Henson and Jones: The Future." Well, one out two ain't bad.

He did against Carolina.

The thing that annoys me is, the second it looks like our running game is about to dominate, and we score, we come back the next drive with three straight incompletions.

It's driving me crazy. I think right now, the coaching staff is holding the running game back from taking over.

I personally thought he had a chance to against the Eagles. Especially in the first half.

That would be great except for one thing. I can't stand Joey T gloating about how great ND players are.

That Philly game was painful to watch simply because JJ was doing so well, but we felt like we had to pass every down. It seemed like we had less than 5 rushes in the first quarter.

I know BP wants to keep JJs carries around 20, but in a game where he's rolling, I'd like to see him get it at least 25. I also would love to see Barber consistently get 15.

I don't think that JJ is going to have a monster game like that this year because BP is going to use Barber more and more if we are sticking with running that much. I mean if Barber does not get any carries last week does JJ get close to 150 anyway?

I saw him take the game over against Houston. When we came out in the second half i told me dad (we were at the game) i said if they run the ball they will score. They came out throwing. THen they started handing the ball of and what do you know, TD. JJ's big 33 yard run IMO sparked the 33 straight points we would go on to score.

He ran well in that game, but I wouldn't say he took it over. I don't think everyone was watching him and saying whoa, geeze, this guy is having a monster day. The 33 yard carry was nice, but we were already well ahead when he started the afterburners.

I'm talking about one of those Seattle or Carolina or Chicago games where the guy just flat out is great every touch. You can feel the electricity watching him and the fun everyone is having.

I never enjoy a Cowboys game more than when our Running attack is on fire and everyone knows it and there is nothing the other team can do about it.

I don't actually care how the Cowboys win, as long as they do win.

IMO those days are over, unless Jones can get it going at the beggining of each half. CAuse if not then you wont see him in as much

And when he did the 33 yard carry i think we were down at the time 6-3. if not maybe up 10-6. We were by no means ahead largely.
