I'm soo tired of the let down...when I was 10years old in 1990 my family moved to Wichita Falls, Texas from Germany! You see my dad was in the Air Force...well lets just say thats when I became a boys fan. Well as I got older I got more and more into them...collecting football cards and going to games and just following everything about them...I'm 28 years old now and I'm broken....When Dallas loses I lose. My whole mindstate and outlook on life changes...my attitude changes...I get depressed...sounds crazy but true. If Dallas cant get some fire and passion and pull out a win to save our season this Sunday then I dont think I can handle it anymore. I'm sick of this....Does anybody have these issues???
Dude dont take it so seiously its a game.I learned that years ago u cant let it get to u like that.heck i dont think it gets to the players like it does some fans.

I feel your pain. Despite what any of these people say,

I get down when the 'Boys lose. It messes up my whole week. My entire outlook on "life" (week to week basis here) is screwed up.

I don't think it's depression. I just think some people get more emotionally attached to a particular subject.

We have had much much darker times in our beloved teams past. At least this team has talent. That hasn't always been the case.

Dude, it's a GAME!!!!

Let me break it down.

Young men, playing.........with a funny shaped ball.....and by the way all of them started out in life PLAYING this game for free.

Now...... this game is their job. Sometimes they take their job seriously, but as with any workplace, there are usually some slackers as well as some with their eye's on retirement just trying to hold on til the time is right.

Again, these young men PLAY A GAME against other young men who PLAY FOR A LIVING AS WELL.

Bottom line: They are playing a game. don't get too shook up about it, somebody always loses in a game.

Nothing like watching this forum systematically tar and feather one poor disgruntled fan after another.

Anyone seen the first episode of John Adams, the part where they tar and feather that british merchant ship captain? Thats the imagery that runs through my head readin' these threads.

E-Lynching at its finest.

STRING 'EM UP! He's pissed at the team!

Remember this...

No matter how bad you want to the tell the team what you think of them or how they should do things, YOU CAN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT!

If you can't control it, or do anything about it, don't worry about it!

At least this team has a history, much more than almost all other teams do! Go pop in a DVD of Super Bowl XXVII or something...

I think that's part of the problem with them. They can actually do something about it too! We can't...

I realized that these millionaires are playing like they could care less so why lose sleep as a fan? They're the ones who should be embarrassed by their play...not us!

for me, this fact makes their losing even tougher to swallow. They've got more than their fair share of talent and yet we must endure an embarrassing, dysfunctional, keystone-cop routine on Sundays.

to me if your a true die hard dallas cowboy fan, you stick through the thick and thin;;

i think one thing that may help and i know it will sound silly etc and some members on this board will roast me for it, but if the cowboys coaches made the players sit down and watch espn, the game films where the Commanders laughed at them, even in the locker room after the game, when the cardinals laughed, even ed werder was laughing when a cardinal player said we beat americas team. And the rams laughed at us and the cowboy players after they beat them, made the players sit down and watch that, watch espn, fox sports laugh at them, just like tom jackson said how about em cowboys yesterday.

if the cowboys players have any pride and heart after seeing that, then maybe they will have some guts and want to do something about it in practices, meeting, game plannning etc,

because when you humilate someone publically or let them see it, you tend to do one of 2 things, you get up and fight do something about it, or you sluk away cowardly, and i dont think the cowboy players are cowards

do that and maybe things will change and the players then maybe will make other players accountable and no more of this were ok, or i played good when you stunk the place up

I don't like it when they lose but I guess I don't take these wins and losses as seriously as some people because my whole life is not defined, ruined, or in anyway hangs in the balance of the outcome of a football game.
