I'm so depressed

I've been a Cowboy fan for 30+ years now and you know what, a loss always has me depressed for a day or so afterward. My wife and I don't even talk for an hour or two after a loss because we know what each other are thinking. Yes, I made her into a cowboy fan also.

This isn't a "lets blame so and so thread". When we lose, we lose as a team. Believe me, I can think of a fews names and say "Off with their heads". But we all lost today and we feel that pain. We could go on and be 15-1 after this, but it still hurts today.

If nothing else, I do believe Parcells can use todays loss to keep this team from getting to full of itself. All he has to say is " Remember Jacksonville". And coach will be full by the end of this week with all the butts he'll have to chew on. He knows the team we have now is better then what we saw today. So he'll be that much harder on them.

All I can say at this point is.....I wouldn't want to be a Deadskin. Next Sunday night there are going to be 45 young men waiting for them at Texas Stadium. Those 45 men are going to be mad as hell. Their going to have had an entire week to think about how they failed themselves and their coach. For 3 hours next sunday night they will unleash that anger. At that time we will know who stands taller.

I feel ya, bro. I'm not very civil after Cowboys losses. I try to be more civil on the board, I think, than I am in real life RLMAO. I kind of stew quietly, but inside I'm red hot.

The good thing about today's game, IMO, was that there were plays to be made. It wasn't like we were manhandled. We dominated early and had the plays in place later on to continue succeeding but we just failed to execute -- be it deep throws to TO or the dropped interception by Henry, the lame PI call on Witten or the missed field goal.

It wasn't as if we were out there unable to separate from their defensive backs and looking lost.

I hope you're right about a big game against the 'Skins. We need it.

Ah yes We're all with you on this. When we lose we all lose together:starspin

But I must say the Commanders are the same way..Their players and fans are much like us believe it or not. And trust me they will have 45 men waiting for battle themselves.

Cowboys-Commanders it doesnt get any better.

Sometimes I wonder if the players do take the game to heart as we fans do. They should, since it is their livelyhood and commitment that got to them to the NFL to begin with. But yesterday watching the game at the stadium Cowboy players found the time to boogie on the field to the marching band in between plays during the commercial breaks.

Shouldn't the focus be on executing the upcoming play, particularly as you are losing ground or getting behind against the Jaguars?

Who'd of thought someone everyone was so looking forward to could turn into such a bumper. Relax. Its one game. Against a good team. It could have been worse, We could have played like that against the Texans or someone of lesser stature then Jax.

Try to find a ray of sunshine, its not the end of the world. We do have el dorado remember, were SB bound. (or so I have been told).

That's the only way we could've won with that performance.

I suppose the silver lining to the dark cloud we all are feeling this morning is that while we faced a good team, the Cowboys really beat themselves. I'm going over to the Jags board to congratulate them. I hate it when I have to do that.:
