Boy!! you guys that are denying Price's worth to this team. Really are going to be in for a surprise.
Crayton is a very very good WR, and he does make clutch catches and get good yards after catches.
But he has none of the dimensions that Price will bring once he steps on the field.
All of the WRs and TEs along with at least one of our RBs will make clutch catches.
Especially Witten and Key.
Glenn has also made clutch catches and Price has made them also when he was with the Bills.
With the Falcons, Price would have shown everyone how good he is, had Vick been further along in his development.
Right now in my mind Shaub operates the offense better than Vick, and I'm a Vick Fan.
But When Shaub is in at QB, all the WRs get involved into the game as well as the RBs running and catching.
Vick's biggest problem right now is that he throws all his passes the same, he needs to know when to use touch, when to take some off of the ball, and maybe be more trusting and patient if he can with his OL.
Crumpler is his safety valve and every now and then he connects with Finneran, who also seems to be able to catch Vick's balls at times.
Vick will get it, but I just have the feeling that he may not get it until he gets a injury that sidelines him a full season. I hope that does not happen.
To me Shaub operates the offense better with the involvment of everyone.
Bledsoe and Price has good good Chemistry, and it will show immediately. Tucker will do a good job, he may start off slow, but he will do fine.
Price is not a number 1 WR, everyone needs to know that right now, he is a very very good number 2.
Crayton is more of a Number 1, because he moves the chains, with his catches and his runs after.
That is my observations. Price makes good runs after catches too, he is primarily a deep threat, but he will catch passes crossing the middle and get runs after the catch.
Price dop make this offense even more explosive, it was dangerous with Crayton and with Crayton and Price, if they had let them all play, our offense would have been basically unstoppable.
BP kept Price off the field, not Crayton. Crayton cannot keep a guy like Price off the field. Price is too valueable.
BP, did not want to take away from the developing Crayton and I can understand that.
But he did not have to keep Price off the field to do that.
You guys will see.
