I'm so excited to see Price...Woot woot!.

What Paniolo said. Book it...we will miss Crayton a ton. In addition to the incredible hands, Crayton breaks an inordinate number of tackles. A lot of drives may have died on the vine without Crayton. Price may be able to replace the catches, but he'll go down on first contact. If anything, I think we end up going to Witten even more than we have. Hopefully Crayton will be back for a playoff run.

Flozell's injury forces us to shorten the field somewhat. I did not notice when Flozell go out from watching Calico's vid. The story might be different when Defenses can gameplan Tucker and make him do things he has trouble doing.

well I cant argue with Craytons hability to break tackles and get good yards after the catch.

I can see a max protect play with Price streaking down the sidelline for a bomb.

Man, our offense was dangerous with Crayton, it had some explosiveness to it. Because Crayton catches everything.

But with Price in the game our offense will be even more explosive, he is the fastest guy on our team, he will stretch the field even more.

Secondaries will have to play honest or get burnt by Glenn and Price. With those two stretching the field, and Witten and Key working underneath, along with Barber and Jones on 3rd downs, especially Barber copming out of the backfield on running routes.

With Jones in and those 3 receiver sets, Julius can get big runs on delays, Draws quick hitters, Thompson will be running wild also Barber.

Too Bad for Thomas because he may not suit up many more games, as BP's confidence grows in his 2 young RBs.

I wish we could have traded him and got a draft pick for him.

I wonder if that means that Ratliff and Johnson will get to suit up more and play?

Price will also hender the offense Crayton was a good blocker for the running game price is a liabilty

Crayton creates yac yardage in tough spots and guys hanging on him Price has never shown that. Price is nothing more than a poor mans Terry Glen

I don't think Price is the weapon Crayton is. Crayton was/is/will be a beast after he catches the ball...Price will never do that.

Price can fill in for Crayton - maybe. Crayton had great hands and was sharp and tuned. Price may need a few games. Price's skills may have declined. We'll see.

But we need to replace Flozell. Hey, they did it in OT didn't they?

The situation is this. Crayton was better for this team than Price, which is why is was starting ahead of Price. I am sooo disapointed that we lost this kid.

Having said that, Price is probably the best 4th reciever moving up to the 3rd reciever in the leauge. Plus ad in his past experience with Bledsoe is an added bonus.

I will still miss Crayton.

Screw that.
Nothing about losing Crayton is exciting.

Crayton is a better fit for this offense and more clutch than Price IMO.

With LT becoming a problem position, I dont expect too many chances to throw deep so we really coulda used Crayton's hands underneath now.

Price is overrated and will contribute mildly but not as much as Crayton was.

My prediction... prepare for another Dedric Ward to hit the field in Price.

I like Crayton, too... but C'Mon!

He's played what, 8 or 9 games in his career? And caught around 25 passes?

Price caught 94 balls for over 1,200 yards the one year he played with a real QB. I'm sure some of them were clutch. I saw a lot of them. I know they were.

Dedric Ward? You've got to be kidding.

Well that 25 Catch WR is still a better WR and kept Price on the bench.

Boy!! you guys that are denying Price's worth to this team. Really are going to be in for a surprise.

Crayton is a very very good WR, and he does make clutch catches and get good yards after catches.

But he has none of the dimensions that Price will bring once he steps on the field.
All of the WRs and TEs along with at least one of our RBs will make clutch catches.
Especially Witten and Key.

Glenn has also made clutch catches and Price has made them also when he was with the Bills.

With the Falcons, Price would have shown everyone how good he is, had Vick been further along in his development.

Right now in my mind Shaub operates the offense better than Vick, and I'm a Vick Fan.
But When Shaub is in at QB, all the WRs get involved into the game as well as the RBs running and catching.

Vick's biggest problem right now is that he throws all his passes the same, he needs to know when to use touch, when to take some off of the ball, and maybe be more trusting and patient if he can with his OL.

Crumpler is his safety valve and every now and then he connects with Finneran, who also seems to be able to catch Vick's balls at times.

Vick will get it, but I just have the feeling that he may not get it until he gets a injury that sidelines him a full season. I hope that does not happen.

To me Shaub operates the offense better with the involvment of everyone.

Bledsoe and Price has good good Chemistry, and it will show immediately. Tucker will do a good job, he may start off slow, but he will do fine.

Price is not a number 1 WR, everyone needs to know that right now, he is a very very good number 2.

Crayton is more of a Number 1, because he moves the chains, with his catches and his runs after.

That is my observations. Price makes good runs after catches too, he is primarily a deep threat, but he will catch passes crossing the middle and get runs after the catch.

Price dop make this offense even more explosive, it was dangerous with Crayton and with Crayton and Price, if they had let them all play, our offense would have been basically unstoppable.

BP kept Price off the field, not Crayton. Crayton cannot keep a guy like Price off the field. Price is too valueable.

BP, did not want to take away from the developing Crayton and I can understand that.
But he did not have to keep Price off the field to do that.

You guys will see.

Me just hopes your right. Price and Crayton together may be the future in 1 or 2 years down the road...

Bledsoe wants PRICE PERIOD.

HE wanted him since the beggining and he is one of hte main reasons Price came here....He played at his best with a REAL QB(Bledsoe).

Craytons injury was tough, but like someone said above C'mon!!.

Having Price is like having two Terry Glenn's. In the right matchups they can hit some big plays.

Crayton is still learning and I think eventually will be a big time possession receiver.

I'll honestly be surprised to see Price at all, unless Purcells is completely faking a genuine dislike for the guy. Say hi to Copper.

copper is only here b.c of his play on special teams, no way in hell is gonna be our #3 WR over Price, lol.

AHAHAHHA i cant believe the garbage you guys are writing about Price! its almost funny; quite sad actually!

price is going to REALLY surprise some boys fans and he shouldnt; hes a really athletic player and hes going to make plays. so much so that i'll bet most of you wont be so sure if you're gonna want Crayton come back and take Price off the depth chart again.

this is very disgusting. reading most of everybodys opinion on peerless price. He cant do this he can't do that. I tell you one thing he wouldn't be here if he couldn't especially at 1.8 mill. guys he is a cowboy support him. Or maybe you are a fan of the players and not the team. you decide

Tell me one thing.

If he is so good, why did Atlanta cut him?

You can't blame that on Vick. The Vick affect hurts all WRs. And Price would benefit more than some guys because the one thing Vick can do is power the ball downfield.

Atlanta didn't want his salary, but cutting him when they did didn't solve much. They had already done their Fa shopping.

And Price was so good in Atlanta they've drafted two WRs in the first round in 2 years.
