We just kicked *** on Chicago in Chicago, Philly in Philly, Indy, and Washington in Washington.
All must win games except Washington.
The path to the Super Bowl is Detroit, Green Bay, and Seattle.
Its playoff football, everyone is good.
Screw being nervous.
I'm not.

I'm not nervous either. Then again, I don't have to line up opposite Suh.
Wait, Suh is not playing.
Never mind. :D

Cowboys are better than the lions by quite a bit. But will they play like that? I think they will lions arent that great and dallas is on a roll. Lions limped into the playoffs.

The secret to enjoying the week of waiting for the game is having faith in the team. I'm not scared of the Lions... losing is not a thought I entertain.

I will admit I am just a bit nervous, but I also the Boys can and will take care of business against the Lions this weekend

The Lions schedule was very weak this past year. They lost to Arizona, Green Bay and New England while only beating a solid team over 500 once.... look at the schedule. We got this. We Dem Boys!!

If we benched our starters we wouldnt have nearly as much pressure, now the entire weight of the world is on our shoulders. Pleas tell me I have nothing to worry about and we are going to crush Detroit

I am nervous about one thing. I think it will be very difficult to establish any kind of running game. And I am nervous that the game plan will call for running the ball a lot, forcing us into 3rd and long....and then a 3 and out.
And getting behind early 17-3. That's what I am nervous about.

I am hoping the offensive minds right now are huddled in a room talking philosophy for this week...and they determine plenty of screens to slow down the pass rush is in order. I hope they come out passing this week to set up the run. Rather than vice versa.

I'm more excited than nervous for Sundays game but definitely feeling some nervousness. It's been 5 years since the Cowboys made the playoffs it's been a long and difficult road back from mediocrity. It's hard to believe it's taken this long you can never take playoff opportunities for granted because you never know when the next opportunity will come. The Cowboys have had some rotten luck with the Lions the last 2 times they played them. In 2011 the Cowboys blew a franchise record 24 point lead against the Lions that came back to haunt the team. Last season all the Cowboys needed was one first down in the final minute and a half to secure the win but a very quick series led to just enough time for the Lions to beat the Cowboys in the final seconds. Calvin Johnson had a career game last season making Brandon Carr look like a 50 cent corner than one who signed a $50 million contract a year prior. The success the Lions have had against the Cowboys the last 2 times they've played will give them some confidence entering the game. This is a different Lions team than the past 2 the Cowboys faced in 2011 and last season they aren't as potent offensively this seaon but they're far better defensively ranking #2 overall and #1 against the run.

The Cowboys loss last season to the Lions was a result of not being able to defend Calvin Johnson and not being able to run the football which gave the Lions offense plenty of opportunities to exploit the Cowboys secondary. Murray was out with an injury resulting in some quick series of downs enabling Detroit to control the ball for over 35 minutes. The 2014 Lions have a more balanced offense in an attempt to keep Stafford from making mistakes. Although he's been very productive through the years he's been inconsistent committing a number of turnovers. He doesn't have the TD throws he's had in previous seasons and the Lions have relied more on their defense which has been very stout against the run this season. They're obviously going to try and shut Murray down and put the game on Romo who they know has a history of turning the ball over especially in elimination/playoff games. A lot of playoff games come down to mistakes/turnovers and the Cowboys/Romo must avoid them.

The Cowboys D can't allow Calvin Johnson to run free in the secondary he has to be contained he hurt them both times in the 4th quarter in 2011 and last season. We can't let Stafford just float balls up to him allowing him to make plays. The Cowboys have had some very tough games with the Lions over the years. In 06 the Lions beat the Cowboys in a shootout at Texas stadium. The following year an 11-1 Cowboys team just barely got by a bad Lions team in the final seconds with a Romo to Witten TD. We all know what happened in the last 2 meetings and with the Lions stout defense and the coverage issues the Cowboys continue to have I expect another real tough Cowboys/Lions game that will likely come down to the 4th quarter. I like the Cowboys chances in this game but it could turn into a real fistfight. Can't wait for Sunday evening!
