I just got done reading on the ESPN NFL site about Joseph Randle. He's in trouble, again. But this time the headline read "Former RB Randle" is in trouble again or something to that effect. I'm proud of ESPN cuz they didn't make the headline "Former Cowboy's RB in trouble again".

They left the Cowboy part out. so maybe this is a sign that they won't take shots at us as much as the past.

One can hope

It's journalism..... The Cowboys bring in viewership and clicks......why wouldn't they out Cowboys in their headline?

ESPN sucks. I can't wait until they fold up shop.

I feel for Randle. Dude has some major-league issues.

They are in trouble that's for sure. They've lost 7 million subscribers in two years hile paying huge rights fees and let's face it - millennials aren't going back. They are going to have to evolve into a new model sooner rather than later.

And you're right about Randle, he needs help.

Randle has only been with the Cowboys so I have no problem when the headline is "Former Cowboys RB." What bothers me is when a former Cowboys player gets into trouble and the headline is "Former Cowboys Player" when that player has played for other NFL teams.

Yeah, there's something really wrong with him. There's something with him that he just doesn't learn from his mistakes. At what point do you look in the mirror and say "okay, this may be me that is causing all this pain". I feel for him because I don't think he has that little voice in his head to tell him that or to have him think through his actions. He's going to be another Sam Hurd or Sherman Williams that spends a good amount of time behind bars. Sad

In unrelated news, an editor in ESPN just got fired for missing out on an amazing click-bait title opportunity...

Yeah, we wouldn't want them to start doing accurate reporting about former Cowboys.

Especially when that player was on another team after the Cowboys. Like Hurd when he went to Chicago then got in trouble. Should have said former Bears player not Cowboys

Eastern Socialist Progressive Network

That channel is one of the main reasons I canceled bundle tv (cable or satellite). Almost 7 bucks a months would go to them even if I didn't watch it.

This comment and action belongs in an ocean of "likes". I go out of my way to not watch them.

No, it sensationalism disguised as journalism. But, that's the case with most networks. That's why I get my news from the internet and PBS.

Hurd spent 5 seasons with the Cowboys and lasted only 12 games with the Bears so he'll always be known as a former Cowboys player.
