I got the Panthers going to the Super Bowl to represent the NFC

I know, I know, that's a pretty foolish prediction, because they are so damn inconsistent, but they have the playoff experience that noone else left in the race has, and just annihilated the Gents, they look pretty impressive my friends...

thoughts?

No, I doubt they beat Chicago- hope they do, but doubt it. 11 of the last 15 teams sine 1978 to win by shutout in the playoffs lost their next game- strange but true fact.

I think Chicago, with a real QB, can go all the way.

I say Washington (*gulp*) or Chicago.

I go with Washington because they were the only team that dominated the Cowboys in the regular season. The Cowboys could have easily won the Seahawks game. They beat the Panthers and Giants. They didn't have a chance in hell in that second game against Washington and the Commanders did have a miracle comeback to beat us in the first game, something other teams wouldn't be able to do. I can sit in envy and call the Skins lucky, or I can just plain admit that they're a damn good team. Washington beat Seattle and Chicago in the regular season. Seattle didn't beat anyone of note lately except us. And I don't count that Indy game at the end of the year either. ;)

I go with Chicago because of the defense. Hate to pull out the ol' cliche but defense does win championships. They're not as injured as some of the other Playoff teams too.

It's parity, so anyone has a shot, but I'll go with the Skins and Bears for now in the NFC.

Chicago, representing the NFC. NY is tough to play in January, but the windy city.....no comparison. No way Chicago's D rolls over and dies like NY did yesterday.

If the Panthers get past Chicago then I'll believe that they are for real. But right now Chicago is my pick to go to the SB with Seattle as the second option. The Panthers are my third pick with Washington needing a miracle with the way their offense stunk up the place in Tampa. I just don't think there is any way that Washington gets past Seattle (I don't think that it is just my heart telling me that either).

Well, Washington's offense did run into the #1 defense, so let's not get too excited that their offense is dead- I wouldn't be a bit surprised to see them hang 35 on Seattle. One thing is for sure, they don't fear Seattle- they beat them once when actually Washington sucked/lucked. Now they are actually playing good.
