I feel that Cinderella feeling also, and It does seem to good to be true. I just hope the clock doesn't turn 12 am for about another 10 years.

nope. maybe if you call letting strahan come untouched!
The play was designed to allow Strahan to come untouched. Colombo was just doing his job. Bledsoe sucks horribly, that's all.

No, I haven't felt this way since 1995. I sense something in Parcells...he's smelling blood and is going for the kill.

This will be a special season. ;)
Even '95 had those three dark weeks where Dallas fell from 10-2 to 10-4 and then avoided the 5th loss with a one point win over a bad Giant team. Adversity strikes every Cowboy season, never has an injury free or charmed season propelled this franchise to glory they've fought and earned every title inspite of it all.

Tell you the truth thinking like yours is what bothers me.
With all due respect, how and when will you ever enjoy the ride we're on with thinking like that.

Not to be philosophical but ,We're all going to have something bad happen to us sometime ,ie;lose a bet, lose a job ,lose a loved one, , etc;, but why dwell on it.
Enjoy what we've got and take the bad stuff as it comes. Don't look for it.:wink2:

I'm not one to be negative really. I never am. This is just too good to be true though. You could have NEVER predicted this kind of success for the kid. You just couldn't have. And it's happening. I'm so happy and every week is a blast now and I just don't want it to stop. :D

I understand completely. I sometimes don't think about things and I think ,if I don't think about them, maybe thay won't happen.
But I feel Ya, I'm as giddy as a school girl.:laugh2:

Naw, even if the Giants do pull the game out, it would put Dallas at 7-5 with 3 of their final 4 games at home. Barring a miracle, both the Giants and Dallas are going to the playoffs.

Don't get me wrong, the game in 10 days matters for home field advantage and probably the second seed (and BYE). But this fairy tale will last into 2007 and probably a third Giants-Cowboys game in January.

please......strahan doesn't matter he is a great player but no game changer.

that game in NY will either be a statement game by the cowboys or a close dogfight loss that wont hurt our mo

I dont think so as idk but this is the most optimistic ive been about the Cowboys chances since the triplets were here. 2003 i felt we were very very lucky to have made the playoffs as we had no running game and Carter while he did a solid job, he still turned the ball over way too much. then last year while i was optimistic i was never sold on bledslow and while i was hoping he would prove me wrong, i still had in mind that there was a reason that he was run from NE and Buffalo. But this year man even when we struggled early in the year with bledslow i had hope because i thought that Romo had a chance to make a difference and he has proven me right. The guy is special and just seems to have that "it" factor that the truly great ones have. I just feel this is going to be a special season for us whether we win the SB or not

I'm drinkin' the kool aid tonight and I'm betting on a statement game by our folks. The G-Men better be ready because there's a new sheriff in town.

OOHHHH NOOOOOO NOT STRAHAN. lmao. it's going to take more than him to derail the Romo express.

No. Because that's exactly what happened in 2003 and 2005. Fast start. Great stats - then we imploded down the stretch. This is the opposite. This is exaclty what I was praying for before the season began. I'd rather have a slow start out of the gate and heat up when it counts. And remember.... today was a day penalties weren't killing us. If this team can finally play without shooting themselves in the foot - no one can touch us. When you're good -- there's no bubble to be burst.

Even if it ends badly, we still go into 2007 with enthusiasm.

Osi Umenyura was a one year wonder. The guy gets pushed off the ball like he weighs 180.

It won't matter anyway, you're all-world #1 pick will throw the game away while an undrafted FA out of Eastern Illinois dominates the Giants secondary.

I feel like I'm gonna jinx it everytime I mention this might be our year.

One of those crazy years where an unknown QB comes out of nowhere and leads a team to the big one. Kurt Warner, Jake Delhomme, Tom Brady.....

I just hope we finish like Warner and Brady did, not Delhomme.

I might be concerned, except
Dallas has too many talented receivers. No team can cover TO, AND TG, AND Crayton, AND Witten. They might be able to cover 2 of those guys but not all of them. And 2 of those guys have been, at various times, considered the best in the game and are still playing at an extremely high level.
This might not matter much if you don't have a QB that can consistently go through progressions and hit the open guy.
Dallas has that QB.
Romo is not going to magically regress and start playing like Bledsoe. Could happen but its highly improbable.
You can blitz Romo and he will just get rid of the ball quicker. You can lay back and he will pick you apart or Barber/Jones will force you to stop laying back.
I like Dallas' chances against anybody this year. Home or on the road.
