This team could be 8-0 right now, they've been in every game that they've lost and two of the three were really last minute giveaways. I therefore think we *could* win every game, but this team isn't that far ahead of the pack to pull it off. We're probably looking at 5-3 the rest of the way out for a 10-6 record.

lane, I really doubt any team runs the table in the second half. I would be ecstatic with a 6-2 finish against our super-tough schedule. Where we make our money is in the division games. If we could somehow sweep those, we're sitting pretty!

Running the table is a nice THOUGHT!

However, with Tucker and Pettiti as Dallas' tackles, and Johnson over the ball, I seriously doubt that becomes a reality.

would love it if it happened, but highly unlikely it will...2 or 3 more losses seem probable to me

the only 2 games that trouble me out of the 8 are:

the giants and carolina. and they don't trouble me much.

i predicted we go 13-3 this year, by god we are going to see it through.

I predicted 11-5 before the year started and its lookin like a good prediction. I agree with the guy that said we will lose to Denver and we will also lose at Carolina. I know everybody is on the Giants Bandwagon now and while they are a good team, their D is really bad. So they don't scare me.

Now thats what I call optimism. Or is that homerism? :laugh1:

It's a great thought......But it ain't gonna happen. heck them danged ol'e fumbled snaps are good for at least one loss the rest of the year. :shootfoot

the thanksgiving game against denver will be a good one.........

but in the second half our defense will have jake plummer looking like a deer in the headlights.

if he lasts to the second half. WE WILL BE 8-3 after turkey day.

Run the table? I think that is wishful thinking. It is possible. But highly unlikely.

i've been following this team for 30 years, yea i'm optimistic.
we very well could be undefeated at this very moment.
we are only going to get better in the second half.

barring injuries, that's the key.

Naw, we have them in Texas Stadium on Thanksgiving and they're a different team on the road. Plummer is a mirage, he'll return to his usual self soon enough.

Carolina, @ Giants, @ Eagles, those are probably the three losses.

Eh? Teams with very good running backs that we've shutdown - Alexander, Sea (61 yds); Tomlinson, SD (72 yds); Portis, Wash (52 yds); Barber, NY (64 yds). Those four are 3rd, 5th, 7th, and 14th, respectively.

Mike Anderson is 10th and Tatum Bell is 13th in top rushing yards.

Damn...I'm starting to sound like Adam...

...doubt we'll turn the tables but it's nice to be optimistic. I think a 5-3 record in the second half is a possibility, giving us a 10-6 season record and a playoff birth.

Hey, Lane! I hope you're right...it'd be nice to have that record and have homefield advantage through the playoffs. Then we can really turn the tables! Muuhahahhaa...

I predicted 11-5.

Even if we wind up 13-3, I would still be scared to death in the playoffs.

I keep thinking back when Jacksonville and Minnesota went like 15-1 and still missed the SB.

I'm afraid this team could get comfortable patting themselves on the back...if you know what I mean.

The way this season has turned out, anything is possible. Whatever happens, I really want us to beat Denver.
