I live in reality, and the reality is that the NFCE hasn't been relevant in 15 years. Piss and moan all you want, but it's true.

Facts are facts. In 2021, there were 2 divisions with worse records. Hence, NOT THE WORST, which was my whole point! I’m merely countering someone’s “piss and moan” about the NFCE being the worst. As far as being irrelevant, didn’t the Eagles win one a few years back? Finally, if history’s irrelevant, why mention ANYTHING? The past is past, right?

I responded to one direct post by you. The only one I was aware of at the time.
I am sure there are data points but I doubt there are enough of them to form a factual basis for saying another division has been worse in recent years.
Difficult to name a division where all 4 teams have been garbage or garbage adjacent multiple years running.

strength of divisions change all the time. Pats got to play in one of the prolonged weakest division in nfl history.

You think the NFC south is a powerhouse right now?

Panthers
Saints
Falcons.... whew, not that is a strong division.

The Cowboys were 12-5 last year. 6 wins were in the division.

lol you watch them everyday and then try to be optimistic. we know they suck, they know it, the entire nfl world knows it. I hear ya though he's the GM he needs to learn to do what Jerry does and just lie about how good they are.

I think the “NFC Least” narrative is overblown. This is an average division.

I think after Beasting for some time , “ NFC Beast” , the East teams started flapping and so the “NFC Least” was born.

Otherwise this division is average and yes you are right we had 2/4 teams in playoffs in 2021 … but both got out in the 1st game.

You do realize that the Cowboys won championships when the NFCE was the toughest in football right? The division lay claim to 7 out of 10 championships between 1986 and 1995. Including 4 in a row from 1990 to 1993. Sometimes iron sharpens iron. It would not bother me at all to see the division become tough as nails again. I love watching good football .. even when the Cowboys lose sometimes it can be a good watch. Not very often.. but every once in a while.

Most of the people who were old enough to enjoy those times are now either grandparents, or dead.

I would enjoy playing in a better division as well. It might force the Jones' to give more effort into team/roster management.
