Texans game was the worst loss I can remember. You can personally thank QC for that one.

Eagles (pickle juice) comes close second because I was there, sweating to death in the heat.

but we were a bad team, that barely lost to another bad team then, that game meant nothing, but then again, I could see why it was so bad, a franchise team's 1st ever victory, in the same state

The loss to the Texans was far, far worse. I believe I've read that was the game Jerry finally realized he was not a football man and needed some help.

The worst loss ever was Superbowl XIII. That team was better than those Steelers and were robbed by officiating mistakes.

We were the better team. If I recall we were actually a slight favorite. Alot of tough losses over the years but that was the toughest.
Lot of ramifications to that loss. Team of the decade and multiple hall of fame inductions lost.

Nah, the 1st and 2nd Commanders game last year and the blowout lost to the Panthers was worst than that.

Sunday was a loss, but the only thing, historically I will remember about it is that it was T.O.'s first game against the Eagles in a Cowboys uniform.

Honestly, after the 2nd Commanders game last year, I thought some heads were going to roll.

To call this the worst loss would be an overreaction IMO.

Despite the circumstances, this team showed me something positive last Sunday. With the exception of 1 or 2 players. We did not quit in this game.

I saw this team quit when it got in a hole for most of this decade, and the problems were across the board, not isolated to a player or 2.

The sickest I ever felt was after the loss to the Texans in 2002. I will never forgive Campo for that one. I couldn't turn on my TV or computer for a week after that, and called in sick the next day.

I thought the 14-13 loss was more devastating.

I was inconsolable that entire week. I remember walking straight into my bedroom after that game, turning off all the lights and just laying in bed, trying to convince myself that it was "just a game."

It was Wednesday before I could even talk to anybody.

Cowboys had all their pistons firing, and you swept the Eagles last year. Don't tell me the Cowboys didn't expect to win that game...

It always kills me how people say the last game was the biggest or worst loss ever.

I swear I think they forget the playoff losses, the loss to an expansion team, the superbowl losses.

That was a chance to 3-peat and be the only team in history to do it. That loss still hurts knowing a cheating salary cap 49ers team beat us.

That was 10 years ago, I think they are talking about games in recent memory ie 3-5 years ago.

No way it was worse than any playoff loss or the one to the Commanders last or even the Steelers the year before.

There's another way of looking at it. We still had hope then. Now we have no illusions about being a good football team, on either side of the ball. We're not awful, but we're not good either. But this is just what I suspected because I don't like our offensive or defensive philosophy.
