Hey everyone i have been having a quiet optimistic offseason so far but i wanted to share some thoughts. With all of the new coaches on the staff especially Sanjay Lal and the fact we do not have true #1 receiver or should i say a WR that strikes fear in an opponent it is gonna be far more crucial then ever that we put our receivers in the best possible situation to succeed and that can be done through scheme.

Funny thing is i honestly have a quiet confidence heading into this year - being underrated is a good thing and i think the Wr's are gonna bring it since they feel slighted i know i would if i were in there position. I still have memories when Dez got hurt and Williams was pushed into the #1 Wr position and it seemed our receivers were shut down because no-one could get open. ( IMO going into this year if our coaches do not do more scheme wise to get our receivers in better positions! this could get us into trouble )

Personally i would love to see more bunch formations with the quickness of Beasley, Gallop, Austin , and the route running of Hurns this could give our receivers the free release and cause enough confusion in the defense to gain the advantage we need to make life miserable for defenders. Meanwhile send zeke out the other side into the flat 1 vs 1 i'll take that LOL.

I would also like to see more rub routes and Wr's lining up at different Wr positions, maybe even sprinkle in a little hurry up with bunch formations to not allow the defenses time to communicate. Teams like Jacksonville we cannot just line up normal everytime and let ramsey and Bouye lock down hurns and williams. That is not a recipe that will have great success.

Scheming with multiple bunch sets , sprinkle in a little hurry up, rub routes and switching where guys line up in base formation and motion are gonna be crucial particularly this year, i think we COULD have a dangerous offense BUT if we do not Scheme better with our WR - could make for a long year ! Watching Zeke vs 8 man fronts !

What say you !

I agree with you but I just don’t see our coaches sticking to it.

We will face a little adversity and they will go right back to what they know and that is the vanilla as can be offense.

This is what every team in the league does every season with their WRs.

No actually just 20 lb test believe it or not.
I had a 72 inch eagle claw steel leader though, just in case I hooked an inland shark.
That's the only reason I was able to land this big cat, and I had no intention of catching this cat, but I changed my fishing agenda after this, once I discovered that huge cats inhabited this inlet.

Very cool awesome fish i would switch up my agenda also LOL

I agree, but expecting Linehan and Garrett to fundamentally change their philosophy isn't seated in reality.
