Cole Beasely got 35x the guaranteed money. People will complain about anything.
Let's see. I have crap on my shoe because I stepped in a pile of dog mess, but I only paid four bucks for the pair - so A+ for me.
I think this sums up your theory.

I paid 4 bucks for crap and got fine alligator shoes. (possible)
So for 4 bucks you get a lottery ticket.
Some people see the glass as half full. Others just sniff the glass and realize it's not water, but watery dog poo.

I agree, I am not going to speak what I actually think he will do (so as not to jinx it), but this is either going to be a low cost failure or a home run.
Why can't it be something in the middle?
Would the middle be OK for the dollars we paid?
I just know this board it will be black or white, no gray allowed here.
But you are right.

I'm just tired of people acting like he's Barry Sanders. I think it's more likely he makes the team and plays 15-20 snaps a game. The trouble is that these backup running backs have to play special teams.
At this point, I honestly don't care for this signing unless McFadden prevents us from drafting a RB.
