Important NFL Offseason Dates

He’ll be disappointed, but he’ll play on it.
Agreed, he has to recognize if he plays on it and continues to be very good that hes going to get a massive contract.

Holding out and being difficult is going to slow his path to what his end goal is

He’ll make almost as much per game this season as he’s made per year through his first four years in the league. The downside, apart from a $28+ million hit to the team’s 2026 salary cap, is the team will not endear themselves to him for not stepping up and signing him now.

He’ll love football just as much as ever. He won’t love the Cowboys as much. Neither will his agent.

We can certainly get two impact players in the first round. Hopefully, they will be corners. Cooper DeJean was a second-round pick. Seattle’s rookie safety was also a second-round pick.

We just suck at picking anything worthwhile in the second round. That’s the round where Jerry gets cute and picks injured players with drug or mental issues.
Good post.

Yeah come to think of it. Use pick 12 for an impact player.
Trade down with the 20th pick, get a pretty solid player late 1st round. Pick up a 3rd round to get decent player.
Skip the what would be a wasted pick in the 2nd round.
