Important QUESTION (at least for me)

This is an important Question at least for my own personel brain storming. I have already been thinking that I'm not so sure I even want Dallas to make the Playoffs primarily to get a top 15 Draft Pick and for this Coaching Staff to get fired. I honestly know in my Heart we have some holes to fill on this Team. I think we need a young speedy stud Receiver out of the Draft and we need new leadership in the Coaching Department. I feel to get these we need to miss the Playoffs. Does anyone else have these same feelings or have even thought this way?

No, and nobody should. You don't hang up the season because of what if's next year. Dallas is 2-2, still early. Way too early to think about next year. Leave that to Mel Kiper, who is wrong 9 times outta 10 about players anyhow.

I actually want the Cowboys to make the Playoffs.

With Wade Phillips, I doubt we can make a deep run but I think it could help establish a winning attitude.

Besides, Wade Phillips is probably gone, no matter how the team performs, so we don't need to go 6-10 for that to happen.

Also, this team has enough talent to make the transition to a Playoff team, it just suffers from bad coaching and an Owner/GM that, imo, prevents coaches from holding players accountable by allowing players to bypass the Coaching Staff and go to him directly.

Well in my view to get rid of this Coaching Staff if thats what it takes than by all means lose please lose because what I'm afraid we go 9-7 sneak into the Playoffs than lose opening round than Jerry will be teased enough to bring back Wade and the Puppets next season and here we go again. In my opinion there is enough talent on this Football Team especially if Ogletree were added to the Roster for this team to be 12-4 but with Wade Phillips and his crew calling the shots we might go 8-8 as Emmitt Smith predicted.

Personally, I don't think there is enough talent on this team to go 12-4.

I think part of the problem is that we overate the talent on this team.

Bill Parcells said this in a radio interview right after he retired and people ripped him for it.
