Imposing our will on the NFC? Possible or a dream?

I love what we have done so far.

But now..

Is it really reasonable to invest in a dream season where we run the table in the NFC?

My view is..

To do it..this team would have to clearly IMPOSE its will on each and every player in the NFC.

With the 9ers gone..that's a plus as we don't match up well with them anyway..

Philly is out and I would doubt us beating them twice in a season..

Jints are roadkill as are the Skins them being big road blocks of our past..

Which leaves Detroit, Seattle and Green Bay as the next mountains in our way to a SB invitation.

Can we do that or am I just dreaming?

Green Bay is the team I fear we don't watch up well with, though I have not seen any Lions games to see how that matchup would look. I think we just need to do what we have done for the last 3 games and see where we fall. I was highly encouraged at seeing Romo run for first downs against the Colts. I have not seen that in quite some time. Even though it does not show up as big yards on the stat sheet, it does add the element of hesitation to the defense, should Romo break from the pocket. It also shows me he is feeling a lot better about his back.

Yes they can. Mixture of talent, luck, and any-given-Sunday.

Dallas is better than Detroit
You could arguably call Dallas - Green Bay a wash
All things being equal, I'd have to favor Seattle over Dallas but not to the extreme that I don't think the Cowboys can't win.

So like most Superbowl winners, the team will likely have to play above themselves at some point in the playoff to get to the Superbowl

Detroit plays a bit sloppy for a playoff team. The cream of the crop is Cowboys, Pack, and Seattle.

Same impression. When he took off I immediately thought there's another thing D coordinators will need to plan for freezing someone momentarily to cover that option.

Honestly,I am still trying to catch up with what this team has done.
Defensively it appears their playing over their head.
Offensively Iam fairly surprised at the line.
I guess anything can happen as it appears Garrett has em focused and psyched.

After these last 3 wins and the way the entire team has played. I feel confident we can win some playoff games. Yes, some mistakes, and things can be cleaned upped.
But all the playoff teams have theses issues too. Those opposing players get paid to be their best too.
I am very glad and proud to be where we are, but also, playing very well too.

Dallas, no doubt we are starting to peak at the right time.
GB, they seem to be struggling a bit for now.
Detroit, not really sure what to think of them, they look good, or look beatable, so inconsistent but winning.
Seattle, people say they are playing better than at the start of the season. I don't really see it that way, but they are the defending champs, so pundits have to go with it.
Arizona, they got off to a fast start, but injuries caught up, but their defense keeps them in there.
Falcons / Panther, in by default

I don't fear any of these teams, home or away. But it is the playoffs, so nothing will surprise me, or so I say. But yes, we can impose our will, and make the dream come true.

We do not match up well with GB, especially with the way they spread you out. We don't have enough guys that can cover their WR's consistently. This is why Seattle never has problems with GB because their defensive backfield has speed, are physical, and can shut down their passing attack.

On the flip side, this is why WE are a bad match for Seattle. We don't do those things GB does, although you cannot ignore our threat in the passing game, especially with the emergence of Cole Beasley. '

I would much rather play Seattle in Seattle again than to play GB on our road.

Plus, for Romo, everything would come full circle and his demons would be erased there. There's NO doubt in my mind that if we have to play Seattle in the NFCCG, Romo will ball out to erase that botched snap garbage.

I agree with all of this. Seattle at Seattle will be the biggest test. GB is good but playing sloppy and beatable. Detroit is overrated.
