Tough loss, but felt more like a win to me.

The team played disciplined.

Run game played very well in the 2nd half.

Secondary played GREAT.

Ultimately the loss is Lamb, but he'll get turn it around.

On to next week :flagwave:

It would be impressive if youngsters made the mistakes that cost the game, but it wasn’t. It was more of the same. They beat themselves just like the past 30 years. A game they should have won. Zero points in the second half due to drops, a fumble, odd play calling and missed blocks.

Schotty had them boys ready. I hope people keep sleeping on them, because this team will be in the playoff hunt.

Should be a fun season.

Get Sanders out of here and I want more Houston. Aside from that we played hard. Dak deserved that win too. When your best player cant make a play its bad news.

its not on lamb its whoever called those long pass plays or decided to throw them at the end. they are low percentage plays and we had plenty of time.

You’re just coping with another lost season . zero chance this team does anything this year , even when everything lines up they choke it away .

Thought they played well but I was the first game where every team is focused. Need to win next week and stay focused throughout.

Agreed…disappointing but something to work with.

After the first half, who had a total of 3 points scored in the 2nd half on their bingo card?

Let’s be honest: that could have been a total nightmare of a game; it wasn’t.

And I don’t think that was simply down to the hilarious loss of Carter before a ball was snapped.

Yes, the D struggled big time in the first half. They were more coherent and effective in the second, but they’re going to need to really find another gear from now on.
Meanwhile, CeeDee’s performance proved the case for playing him in pre-season. “Ring rust” doesn’t even begin to describe his play tonight.

However, on balance, we can take some serious positives from this game. The O looked far more cohesive, balanced and threatening than I thought it would this early on.

Dak’s movement and Schottenheimer’s game management were other big highlights. I’d also include the performances of Kenny Clark and (mostly) Sam Williams as well.

i feel good about this team.
proud of'm.
defense was much better in that 3rd half.
bottom line...we had our chance and blew it.
but helluva effort tonight vs the champs.

The D played pretty well but let's not forget the Eagles lost their star tackle before the first Dallas O series. And the ability to run for decent yardage completely disappeared in the 2nd half. The OL seemed to disappear in the 2nd half also, even without that trash in the game.

PS- Dak played a good game.

So the defense impressed you in the first half.............LOL!

Lamb is the biggest piece of crap. Irvin would have never dropped those throw. No heart. You young cowboys fats have no idea. God bless you. Geeze . I'm so thankful that I saw those super both wins.

Overall, I agree. I owe a huge apology to Schotty; he had the team better prepared than I initially thought. While it's true that Lamb dropped too many passes, I noticed that Dak could have run for some of those first downs instead of constantly relying on Lamb. In my opinion, that was the difference in the game—one quarterback (Hurts) is willing to run with the ball, while the other (Dak) never seems to consider it.
