I mentioned this in another thread, but I don't think Romo has a problem throwing across the field...there is no habit. I can't remember the last time he did it. I think he saw that Choice was completely alone and he could make the throw. I thought this was a good play by Romo, and it netted us a first down.

It turned out to be a positive play,it's just a play I don't like to see.I'm of the opinion that that type of play can bite you in the butt more times than not.I agree that Romo seemed to motioning to Choice on that play, but the worry I have is the next time he attempts that sort of play.If the play was designed to throw across the field it's one thing, but when a play breaks down and you start playing sandlot football it can hurt you.I suppose that Romo's skillset/uniqueness is imprompt play,I just wish he would play with a little more control sometimes.

Yep, not sure where the idea that the coaches didn't have confidence in the team came from. 4th & goal from the 1 is a given, 4th & goal from the 6 is FG time.

Rookie TE John Phillips cost us 4 points.

While it was his penalty, the ignorance of the home crowd getting LOUDER as we got further into the redzone deserves some of the blame. And they did it multiple times.

How was the crowd noise last night? Was anyone there last night that attended last week as well? Was it louder with less people but with a closed dome or less lowd?
Maddeningly loud.........when we're at 4th and goal on the 1 yard line.

Dallas has stupid fans.

Not a bad price for those tickets, thats about $4 cheaper than they were charging at Lambeau for seats a couple years back, when they were one of the cheaper venues in the NFL.

EDIT: Of course, Lambeau is perpetually sold out, so those tickets were bought at sticker price from a season ticket holder. Through a scalper it'd probably cost a lot more.

Yea, I was real happy with the price. I used the Ticket Exchange and there were a bunch reasonably priced.

In terms of the defense they looked very good to me. It was great to see some turnovers and sacks last night.

At this point, what we need from Romo is what the Giants, Steelers, Ravens, & Falcons get from their QB's: just MANAGE the game!

They're maybe 2-3 QB's I'd trust to take over games, & their names are Peyton, Brady, & Brees.

Funny how alot of fans like to rag on Eli & Ben for only "managing" the game, yet we're about to find out if Romo can do the same thing.
If he's not capable of remaining calm, & restraining his impulsive urge to be reckless, then the Boyz will have a long year.

Well, in my opinion he did a GREAT job of it last night. Everything about last night would have set up the perfect scenario for some "frustration" throws. But he never took the bait. Romo continually played within himself and the unfolding of the game and the result was a real solid win.

I could not believe that I heard hosts on 2 different sports talkshows criticize him for his play last night.

They said he was trying too hard to not make mistakes. :bang2:
How stupid is that.

If Farve had tried harder not to make mistakes, the Packers probably would have one more than one Superbowl during his time there.
