Thanks. That was great. Would have loved to have seen him play. Stealing home is the most ballsy play in baseball and he did it 54 times. Wow.

Stealing home isn't done near as much as it used to due to changes in how pitchers pitch. Days of the long wide-ups that allowed home to be stolen easily are long gone.

I've watched the Texas Ranger's Elvis Andrus still home several times in his short career though.

Great article, thanxs so much. It a shame that Ken Burns did what he did on Cobb. And people buy that documentary as the absolute truth more than not. Hope this book on him helps turn that.
