....let's realize the defense put the offense in position for that big 2nd half comeback by forcing FG's & denying 2 point conversions.

Offense came through huge in the 4th, but needs to be recognized: we were screaming at the defense all day, but their stopping two 2-pt conversions early and then holding Pitt to 2 FG's when they got into the red zone, that is huge.

Just ONE of those 2 pt conversions being made plus ONE of the FG's they made being a TD instead, and Pitt has 6 points difference on the scoreboard.

It's a season high given up by the defense, but realize how much WORSE it could have been if Pitt was making those 2 pt conversions and scored just 1 more TD instead of being forced into 3 FG tries, one of which they missed.

Very true... When healthy and especially at home... this is arguably the most lethal offense in the league. Their skill positions rival anyone in the league. We fought hard despite our injuries. I love how this team just perseveres! So proud...

Don't forget though that a fumble by Prescott gave them a short field for an early 6 points, though they should have held them to 3 points.

Good point. We set the Steelers up with a turnover there. Thank God we only turned the ball over 1 time this game.

The league is built for offense and guys like BR are going to pass for a lot of yardage...esp. with those receivers. You are right...the D made just enough plays to keep the team in the game.

Unfortunately under Dak Dez and TWill disappear a lot, TWill disappears when any other QB not named Romo is under center same with butler.

Don't forget that we were down to McFadden as a CB. Who the heck is he anyway? I had to look him up. He is on his 4th team in 4 years and we still won the game. We were pretty thin in this game.

We lost Scandrick and Mo against a team with a QB with an arm and a lot of weapons.

Defense could of done better, but overall they did well in my book.

We really need to get MoC and Church back out there, but they are still a few games away from returning from what I've read.

Pitt had the majority of the breaks. Early fumble and score, fluke TD and the Refs with one side calls.

I was speaking about The Steelers offense since this thread is about the Dallas D. As far as our O is concerned. Can't stop'em all.

Not everyone has automatic dan bailey
but even if your kicker is below avg on extra points you are getting 3 points for every 24 lets not forget you also have that whole if intercepted or fumbled the ball can be returned for 2. There is time or place for everything but to go for it every time puts your team behind the 8 ball to make almost sure points if you do not get it.

Desperation made Tomlin do that. He knew he had to pull all stops and it backfired on him.
