No way could I forget! Only the 4th really good season since 1996. I only expected 6 wins. I loved last season. It was great.

Looks like the video was blocked. Regardless, the 2016 season was an incredible ride.
The loss to the Packers tore me apart unlike any loss in years - probably the most devastating since the opening day loss to the Texans. But it doesn't diminish what was a lot of fun Sundays and the pride I felt in our team being back.
Let's get this new season started already!!

hard to forget 13 and 3 and home field throughout and one and done at home this is a different year they may not even make the playoffs

If you read the text on the screen it gives you a link to YoiuTube where you watch the video. YouTube did this maybe 8 months ago where the video will no longer play on this site, and redirects you to their site. I believe you need to have your own channel to make it play on your site. Try again.

Now just imagine the addition of Collins on the line in place of Free. Add Switzer to the mix, which bolsters the punt game, and is another weapon for Dak. Especially if Beas is on the field at the same time. Now mingle in the coaching staff incorporating Elliott in the passing game more, and this offense will be scary.
Then feature the addition of a pass rush, Jaylon manning the middle, and a ball hawk secondary. A defense edging into the top ten. And if the offense plays ball control, maybe closing in on the top five eventually.
I am getting carried away and truly believe they need walk before they can run. But I can say for certain good times are coming and this team will string quite a few seasons together where they will be serious players for a title.

Oh, the crawl, walk, run aspect isn't lost here...but sorry if it makes this old linebacker salivate. I'm well aware how tough this group will make it on the glue of a defense...the linebackers.

I am trying my best to temper my expectations.
2010, I expected a great season after Romo finally won his first playoff game. I could've never predicted we would've had a losing season and not seen the playoffs again for 4 years.
2014, Sean Lee injured, we lost Demarcus Ware and our defense was already pretty awful. I expected the worst...I would've never predicted the season we had after 3 straight 8-8 seasons...especially after the 49ers whipped us week one.
2015, I expected big things. We lost Murray but I knew we could still run the ball. We added essentially 3 first round picks and the best pass rusher on the market. Worst season ever.
2016...we did nothing to address our backup QB situation and our defense was basically the same group that let us down the previous 4 seasons. My expectations were low...they were rock bottom once Romo went down.
My point is many fans predictions seem to be completely off in regards to this team. Let's just always expect the worst and hope for the best!

It didn't tear me apart. Rogers was on fire and hotter than any QB out there. Garrett came in flat as usual in big games and we got too far behind. We barely used Zeke which normally would get someone canned. However I liked the fact that they fought back and tied it up. Nothing short of amazing. Then an amazing throw and catch down the sideline and the rest was history. Hotlanta would have smoked our defense anyway IMO.
