"He was a terror rushing the passer," Bellore said. "I've always admired his work ethic and how skilled he is at what he does. Obviously, I am my own person and I have to prove myself. I'm trying to do what he's done."

At 6 feet 1 inch and 245 pounds, Bellore fits the profile of an old-fashioned middle linebacker, one personnel man said. As a participant in the East-West Shrine Game, the combine and pro day, he has talked to people from almost every team, but says the clubs using the 3-4 defense appear particularly interested.

Dallas, Jacksonville and New Orleans were the teams that brought him to their meeting rooms for formal sit-downs at the combine.

I like this kid.

I imagine we would take him in the later rounds or UDFA.

He is a tackling machine. Seems pretty durable. Great work effort.

The only thing that hurts him is his 40 times are not too impressive and he played for a smaller school.

At worst I bet this guy gives you great special teams play.
