I don't even believe that he has a say on the play calls during the games. The fake punt call - who's stupid idea was that? Was a drunken old idiot talking to MM through his headset and convinced him to run the play?

Bones admitted it was his call. Mike wanted to punt and Bones asked to go for it. It failed. Bones is the one coach getting the most out of his unit I think we have the best special teams in the league so he’s doing his job.

I can agree that they needed to try something to get momentum, but damn, the execution was awful, maybe even the worst I have seen. It looked like they tried to run a play and had never once practiced it.

Execution was bad. I would’ve kept the offense out there if I’m going for it. But Bones tried to inject something into the team. It failed so you gotta take your lumps.

What a naive old school take. You "rest the defense" by getting first downs. Handing the ball to Zeke 3 times and punting does not rest the defense. Ball control = first downs.

I think now has more to do with not being able to run, than not wanting to run. We simply can’t run the ball with no RB and two rookies starting on the oline

KM was great in the redzone but he had a ton of questionable calls with his time management. McCarthy time management is worse and is red zone production is around the bottom of the league.

Moore's offense simply scored too often and too fast for McCarthy's liking.
