In Honor of the 75th NFL Draft

Flaaco has brought his team to the playoffs back to back years, rookie and 1 year pro. Got to the AFC championship in the rookie year, and has actual talent not media-hype and the best rungame, defense and o-line in football like Sanchez.
Only 6 guys in NFL History have rushed for more than 2000 yards in a season.

point taken. Im not saying I hate CJ he is a fantastic player, but he is behind the second best o-line after the NYJs oline. He got a buttload of carries, the QB situation was in turmoil and they had to switch over to VY halfway threw the season. He had alot of things going for him to get the yards.

Doesn't matter. All of that is fluff nonsense. The bottom line is in a short amount of time he has established himself as the top pick of that class and it really isn't even debatable. Not even if you were a CJ hater. It just isn't debatable.

Ironically people make the same argument against Emmitt Smith and I'm sure.....no certain...........no absolutely positive you blow holes in that argument when it's used against him.

Emmitt Smith is the best RB of all time, he could do everything you were asked for the position. CJ is fast with huge holes on his o-line, im sure anyone who runs a 4.24 could run though a huge hole and not stop, Forrest Gump did it and im sure Felix Jones could do it.

If I was building a team from scratch I would rather have a Franchise QB hence Flaaco then a speedback that will only last 3-4 years like CJ, and in the draft you build a team so positional value is very important, if it wasn't wouldnt you want Deion Sanders in 89 over Troy Aikman? Deion is one of the best football players of all time period, but Aikman was a QB, positional value is important.

then you should know that CJ made plays, made people miss, hit his line and bounced outside, and also was a receiving threat hence the record for most yards from scrimmage, his game is alot more dynamic than 'run straight through big hole'

The truth is not supportive of his argument.

No doubt. In 2 years CJ has established himself as the most dynamic offensive threat in football, and R2A wants to put a prototypical Bus Driver QB like Flacco ahead of him? I get all the Cowboy love he has, but Flacco isn't a Cowboy. CJ, like Gus Johnson said, "has running away from the cops speed"
