Just saw this.

Used to watch this show religiously.

New one is probably going to suck just based on the recent climate of comedy. Most of the guys on Comedy Central who are less famous are 100% in-character and their entire routine is nothing but that character. Don't get me wrong, most comedians are nothing like their stage act but there's a fine line between establishing a character and working jokes from that facade and using that character as the punchline in the vast majority of your jokes. Picking out the good from the bad is pretty easy most times by simply looking at how reliant the performer is on their persona.

Lesser Reliance = Better Quality

Anyway, I'll give it a look because I used to watch the old show religiously.

These are still some of my favorite bits.

I can't help but believe that a new "ILC" will be but a shadow of it's former self. I suspect a highly sanitized version comes back, and a lot of the politically incorrect material they had on before doesn't get anywhere close to airing...And that's a shame.

I'd probably watch it, would be cool if they could get Jim carrey to

come on occasionaly, but I doubt he'd do it. It's better than yet another dumb reality show.

Never saw an episode before and won't start watching it now.

You missed out. The original show was hilarious.

I think big dog cowboy was in a coma in the early 90s. There is no other explanation.

Well he is from Kansas. That could 'splain it. lol

I wonder if the Wayans are a part of it this time? There's like 500 of em to carry on the tradition.

I used to LOVE THIS SHOW! The wayan's NOT being involved would be a tragedy. Those sketches back in the 90's are WAY FUNNIER than most current SNL sketches.
