Wow.

That beats the nerds that line up 2-3 days in advance for iphones and new gaming systems.

There must have been 80+ cars in that drive thru lane. That is insane.

Some people have way more time on their hands than me.

No kidding and all for a crappy burger

Herd mentality. It is never actually about the product, it's about being part of the crowd.

Idiots.

Its good... may not be the best Burger in the world. But people who don't like it have usually built it up in heir minds to be better than they could ever imagine, so they get disappointed.

Its become "cool" to hate in n out.

no fast food joint is going to make a burger better then the one I make on the back deck.

I suspect a mental illness when watching a person cry about fast food.

I don't like them because they made me sick.

Went out to California a couple weeks ago. First time trying an in-n-out burger. It was good. As far as fast food goes, very good.

A week later we went to a backyard grill out. The burgers there were better.

EDIT: the host who grilled up the patties was from Georgia. That might explain some of it. Southerners know how to grill.

To a lot of people from the West Coast, In-n-out is something "home" to them. It's not hard to imagine people lining up or shedding tears - its not because the burger is so good, it's the nostalgia. Everyone I know that has ever lived out west raves about friggin' In-n-Out and how its so much better than Five Guys, Fatburger, etc. and how they wish that we had them out here.

I don't think I'd shed tears, but if Braum's ever came to Georgia, I'd definitely line up (within reason, that In N Out line can go die) to go.

Amen to that, brother. And that's especially true when you know exactly where your grass fed beef came from. The meat in hamburger comes from everywhere and is untraceable.

Growing your own food and knowing the farmer/rancher who produces your food is becoming more important everyday. Fast foods generally contain unhealthy amounts of sodium and fructrose as well as GMOs and partially hydrogenated oils. The foods people eat as well as their lifestyles are making them sick.

Best long term investment - health care stocks. They're making a killing on what people eat these days.

Why wouldn't they wait a few days for the crowds to die down? Who needs a hamburger right now? You eat it and the moment is fleeting. At least with an iPad, you get to play with it all day.

It's not that it is bad or good. There is no hamburger that should evoke that type of behaviour. This is what I mean by herd mentality. It is people blindly following other people because it is the hip thing to do. Just like Apple product releases and bashing Justin Bieber on YouTube or elsewhere.

They are sheep.

Did someone just out himself as a Beiber fan??????

It's an ok burger but nothing to wait in line for all day...

THEIR burger is good, but people act like it's the best cheeseburger in the world, and once you bite into it, you'll have multiple-orgasms.

For me...

Fuddruckers > In-n-out all day.

I had In-n-out 2 months ago. Like I said...it's ok.
