Tomorrow is my son's football game and we unfortunately will not get the game to record.

Usually I head to the Vets Hall and watch the game live with the old guys, but I will be on the sidelines instead.

Will anyone consider offering the game by bit torrent? For someone stuck between a rock and a hard place I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

Oh, are you in Canada? Can you guys get DirecTV up there with the NFL package? That's the best way to go...

Other companies carry NFL Networks, but I chose not to go with it this year because I want to limit my kids exposure to TV in general. If I don't buy the stacked packages then I can't get Sunday Ticket.

I guess I made a choice of no Sunday Ticket and no soft porn channels for the kids to try to unlock.

... they have won two and lost one. They play in the away jersey colours of the Bengals. All black with orange highlights. My wife says the boys are the best looking team in the league.

Well, that too bad...but, did you know that if you got the NFL Network and the Sunday Ticket with and those other packages, you can actually insert a numerical password for access to porn or any other channels that you don't want your kids to watch...so, unless they find out what password you put in, they cannot access anything that you don't want them to access...

...at the start of the season I was all over this one. When we joined the league, and we are the newest team in this city league, I asked if we could be in blue and silver.

There was a flat out no at the league meeting because another team, the Warriors were blue and white.

I told them we would be the Martensville Stars and made sure the helmets would be silver and have a blue and white star on the sides. No other team in the league has a star logo.

They didn't budge. Then I asked for silver and black - taken. Then I asked for red and black - no again. When the dust finally settled it was only orange. It was settled, majority basic black and side panels of orange.

I'll post a picture if someone gives me a tip on how to do it.

...but I know of some friends who's kids can break the code to Bell ExpressVu. Also, it didn't seem useful to buy Sunday Ticket for only four to five games.

My hope was the generous nature of the Cowboys Community would come and help me this year. Any other year I would have no problem because I would just hang out at the Vets Hall.

Does the Vets hall have a recording device for VHS? Do you have an VHS recorder that you can take down there to the Vets and hook it up temporarily for the game to be recorded for you?

I don't know how to stream or bit torrent (what ever that means) or I would help you...sorry.

Just say you did not want to pay the cash and want it for free. There is no shame. Don't know why you would make that story up.

You can get sunday ticket with expressvu with any basic package for $90 cdn for the year. Dont know where you get the soft core porn garbage.

...presently the package that I get is $54.00/yr here in Sask. which may possibly be different than the offer you get in your locale. We have the base package of channels plus the foreign language channels for my elderly oriental mother.

I just chekced again with Bell in Augst and they stated that if I was to jump up to NFL Sunday Ticket I would get the Ticket and a dozen other "bonus" channels with that package because of the package level I was already at.

Let's see what they offered: Men's TV, Razer... well you get the idea. I got the opportunity to wathc those channels with my wife last spring when they placed them on free view for a two week period.

I'm not sure about the type of BS you are talking about, but with the three children I have I don't want that stuff on my TV.

As for "free" football games. First, I watch at home on my ExpressVu when the feed is on. Second, if it's not at home I drive into Saskatoon from my small town 13 miles away to go to the Army and Navy Vets Hall to watch the game. I bring baking from my wife every time so the guys will watch the game with me.

And third, if Saskatchewan Roughriders happens to play on the same Sunday then I go to a local brew pub to watch the game and have a meal. Which is awkward since I'm not able to drink due to a autoimmune disorder diagnosis. They are always on me for not having a drink although I pay for juice and have a meal.

I haven't watched a football game for free in a long time since Global stopped carrying Dallas games when the Cowboys record sucked.
