I thought Ellis was awful tonite. The guy is just not suited to play OLB. Yea he had 2 sacks and the forced fumble but hes just a liability. If im game planning im running wide at him and putting him in a position that he has to cover somebody. He is just not athletic enough to play OLB. Get burnett or carp in there and move him to the nickel.

Other than the reverse (which, I think Ware broke containment on if I'm not mistaken), when did they run well on the Cowboys?

I agree, Ellis LOOKS like a phyiscal mismatch in the opponent's favor in terms of being able to get outside and run with guys. Maybe he was passed on a few times tonight that I missed, but he certainly wasn't a liability against the run tonight.

he is just too slow, i think 3 times they ran outside his way and he wasnt even near. hes a good pass rusher yea, but the guy doesnt have the athletic ability...liability was maybe an overstatement
