Darius Philon, DT, Arkansas. I think we would be very happy with this pick. Saw every one of his games the last two years. One of the few redshirt sophomores to come out (a mistake for sure). This dude can play. Very athletic 300 pounder. He may need a year to develop, but pretty sure he'll be contributing for someone on Sundays for years to come. Oddly, Jerry doesn't do a very good job of snagging under-rated Razorbacks (Jason Peters comes to mind, who most Razorback fans knew was a hoss). Hopefully he doesn't miss out on this one.

Heck, he may be there as a free agent, but I bet somebody will snag him in the 6th or 7th.

This isn't much of a highlight video, but it's the best I could come up with.

I like him. Drafting a soph is a good way to get some high upside players later.

They take....Frank Clark DE Michigan.

DFW Press goes haywire with Clark and Hardy on the team.

Don't think he lasts anywhere near the 7th honestly. Really like the player though. I think he ends up in the 4th/5th round range. Kiper has been putting him in his top 10 DT's, NFL.com has him as a top 25 overall d lineman, and scout's inc has him ranked as the 9th overall DT. In other words, CBS is dropping the ball on him (and several others) and you can't go by that 7th round grade they have on him.

Hmmm, well is he worth a 5th rounder??

In my opinion, yes 5th would still be good value on him. He's got a really good initial burst and looks pretty fluid with good agility for a guy 300 lbs. Looks like he needs to get a good bit stronger and his length leaves some to be desired, but I can definitely see him a good rotational 3 tech.

The dude was double teamed at on point in that video and still bull rushed his way to the QB. That was impressive.
