Is Kiffin an in the booth guy or on the field guy? I have always thought that a DC should be up in the booth.

I think of the OC as a booth guy, ala Norv in his days here.

i've always had an affinity for coaches who gathers his players on the sidelines before and after a series to go over strategy on the next series, motivate players, etc.

Monte is a high energy guy reportedly, even for his age, i'd like to see that rub off on the players

from everything I've seen with him. He use to smoke like a chimney up there, but those days are probly over. Steps don't matter btw...everything is old man friendly in Jerrah World....he can CRUISE up the ramps in his motorized wheelchair and roll right up to the coaches table that'll have his headset and game charts just waiting for him.

......In all seriousness, I'm glad Marinelli is here.....RELIEVED actually. Rod will be down on the field and in charge believe me.

That's what is so great about having Marinelli here now... The guy has so much fire in his belly & if Monte is up in the booth, we can count on Rod to rally the guys on the sidelines & be able to point out each and every mistake and ways to fix it
