Cowboys v Giants is the highest rated - most watched TV Show EVER - beating out the 1993 NAFTA debate - -16 million tuned in.
Per ESPN
And we embarrassed ourselves.

and in the history of football broadcasting, that was EASILY the worst.
Half the time people couldn't even tell what was going on on the field because we had to listen to Emmitt talk about dancing with the stars or listen to Kornhole call one of our players Satan or watch Tiki talk about retirement.
3 commentators + 2 sideline reporters = 3x too many people trying to hear themselves talk

I fixed that. Turned the volume down and listened to Brad Sham on the radio.

Brad Sham to the rescue! Right on! I have been doing this for nearly 15 years. If you can pick up the radio broadcast and don't mind the slight delay it really is much more fun to listen to.

I'm not surprised this game had high ratings. I remember a study that was done maybe 20 years ago revealing that the ratings actually soar in games when the Cowboys are losing. More people tune in and stay tuned in. I guess that's still true.
