In year 2, what do you need to see from our Head Coach?

It was good to see our HC bring in some guys that he didn't know anything about, some worked out, most didn't. We saw our HC bench his starting WRs a series due their issues that were detremintal to the team. We saw him make some questionable decisions during games. He's never been a head coach, but now he has a year under his belt.

So in your eyes what things did he do well, what areas does he need to improve in?? Please give your thoughts

He let the defense destroy the 2025 season.

Even though Eber was clearly lost, Shotty should have made changes. Play calling should have been taken from Eber.

This is a sign of a weak leader. Timid.

The new DC has never called a game on defense.

Can’t afford to let it happen again.

Just that is a worthy goal for Schottenheimer in his second year as a head coach. Particularly if one of the wins is vs. Arizona.

Well knowing the nfl and cowboys, they probably lose to ariz , and SF, and beat the rams and seahawks !

I dont care as long as they win 2 and most of their home games , and maybe split with afc div I think the south.

I hope Schotty avoids going along the same route that other recent coaches have under the current Cowboys' management. I'm sorry to say I wouldn't bet the farm on it, though. This front office has an obvious knack for minimizing the efforts of its coaches. I hereby challenge this FO to overcome it.
