Yes But who's really better Emmitt Smith or Barry Sanders...That's what really needs to be discussed.

Personally I've always loved the way Dorsett ran.

Emmitt SMith

:D:D:D

He holds a whole lot more records

and had the stupid gril ALxeander not gotten 18 TD's of the NFC west and the texans, then maybe he would have one more to his count.

Good list, however Eric Dickerson needs to be added.

Thats who I was trying to remember!:banghead:
Also Marshall Faulk and John Riggens were great Rbs as well.

I can't forget him. I was at the playoff game in Dallas when Dickerson racked up over 200 yards on us. To make it worse it was one of the coldest games I have attended so cold that the water pipes at Texas Stadium broke making the floor look like an ice rink.

Was that the horrible sutout in 85? And Didnt they get sutout in the next game by the bears?

I think your right. I know Dallas got blanked in that game 20-0 and Dickerson had something like 250 yards and a pair of TD's in the game. It made for a long drive back to Houston not to mention the highway was covered in Ice, it took 9 hours to get back home on a drive that normally only takes about 5 hours.

I'll endorse this list right here. Nice job Rich.

Not a popular opinion I know, but Barry is not in my top 10.

I have just recently seen two Earl Campbell games and wow I have never seen anyone else run with such power before, tackling a ram defender and still running till he gets his jersey torn off, I think that was his 3rd torn jersey that game alone!

How can Barry Sanders not be in your top 10? When he retired at age 30, he was only around 1500 yards from the all-time rushing record. He would've easily been the all time leading rusher if he wouldnt retire so early.

His game aginst Miami on MNF was one of the best performances I have seen.
