Inactives for Sunday?

Who do you guys think will be our 8 inactive players for Sunday?

4 of them are guaranteed due to injuries, with a 5th being highly likely due to his short time with the team:

Stephen McGee
Curtis Johnson
Jason Williams
Michael Hamlin
Marvin White

So that leaves 3 more inactive players. Since we have 10 OL on the roster, AT LEAST 2 of them will be inactive, possibly 3. McQuistan is highly likely to be inactive. After that is where it gets tricky. I'm not sure if they will activate only 1 of Holland/Procter/Preston and have him be the backup for C and both G positions, or if they will take Preston to backup C and one of either Holland or Procter to back up both G positions. If they activate only 7 OL, that leaves a spot open on the active roster for a 5th WR, most likely Ogletree (assuming Hurd and Austin are healthy). However, if they go with 8 OL, that most likely means only 4 WR get on the active list. I wish was there a way to take 8 OL and get a chance to see what Ogletree does in a real game situation as well, but after eye-balling the roster I just don't think there is.

After we see what the coaches do with the inactive list on Sunday, it should give us a much better idea where we stand on the Holland/Procter/Preston situation and who is going to be backing up where etc. Looking forward to it!

I would go with:

Stephen Mcgee
Curtis Johnson
Jason Williams
Michael Hamlin
Duke Preston
Miles Austin
Marvin White

I'm just not sure of the other one

I would give Procter the wrong tavel information on purpose so he would miss the flight.

We're stuck with him now......if he wasn't cut by 3 PM central, his full salary is guarnateed.

Dont hate me

Proctor knows the offense better, Duke needs a week or two. It's the safe but not popular move.

If so, that all but guarantees only 7 OL and 4 WR are active. Interesting.

Pretty sure thats the way it was for most every game last yr. Maybe the yr before too.

If Miles Austin at even 90% get the spot over a healthy Ogletree it's a waste. We need to keep the rookie active and get him on the field. It would be a nice change to develop a WR for once.

Yeah, I heard this on the Ticket. Don't know where it came from, but not only is he going to be on ST, but reportedly might play safety in certain packages (goal line/short yardage ...?) ... well he's supposed to be good in run support from what I've heard ....

Interesting. Guess we'll all have to wait to see Ogletree in a real game situation (once again, assuming Hurd/Austin are ready to go).
