The other side of the story. I have low regard for Incognito other than he's got the coolest name for a Mr. Irrelevant ever, but the response from his teammate is worth sharing.
Once you get "verification" then what? Why can't we just now claim it to be "awful if true." Absolutely there are instances where women and minorities have exaggerated details, but way more often than not, they are telling what happened truthfully. This is why women and minorities have been scared to speak up about stuff over time, because whenever they do, their credibility is attacked, rather than just being listened to.It wouldn't really surprise me one bit, given his past.
To avoid being a knee-jerk reactor, I'd still need verification; otherwise it's just he-said/he-said.
The odd thing is that, from what I've heard, a guy like Cole Beasley gets racial comments almost every game by opposing players ...as part of trash talk.
He could make a fuss about it but would be called a wuss for doing so.

Incognito was drafted in the 3rd round.

It was different years ago. Doesn't make it right, but I agree about not whining like a lil beach about it.I think anybody who has played competitive sports, at any level, has been called names that can be construed as offensive.
But all of a sudden, in the last 5+ years, it creates headlines.
I'm not condoning racist slurs, but seriously, grow a pair.
