68 lead changes, looking like one of the best Indy finishes ever and they run the last 7 laps or so except a few hundred yards with 3 to go under yellow.:bang2: :bang2: :bang2: Danica's old car leads a couple laps and AJ Allmendinger (kicked out of NASCAR for Adderall) finishes 7th in his first try.

Yeah, I thought the same thing. Happy for Kanaan but it's an absolute joke to finish that race like they did.

That was going to be an epic finish, no one could hold the lead, just horrible to finish that way.

I'm a big Andretti fan so I was bummed he didn't get a shot at the win but I'm glad they don't have the green white checkered thing like Nascar does.

I don't like the series manufacturing drama that effects the results. I know it makes it more exiting but it seems to me like it cheapens it some. That said if Marco couldn't win it I'm glad Kannan did, super good guy and hell of a driver.

couldn't disagree more, race for the win, seems like driving 60 mph the last two laps cheapened the hell out of that race.

It might have made it anti climatic but it didn't cheapen it. The guy who was leading at the end of 500 miles won the Indy 500. It sucks that it ended under yellow but thats racing.

Manipulating the race with lucky dogs, green white checkers and other rules to make a better show works for Nascar and I'm a Nascar fan too but to me it seems like sometimes they sell their soul for added drama to boost ratings.

I know it stresses the cars and the drivers....but what if, once you reach 10 laps to go, caution laps no longer count against the lap total. You could even do this with 5 laps to go to save the weary cars and drivers.

Awesome race for 198 laps. Too bad an awesome ending got ruined. Nat crazy about the OT NASCAR uses but it was beter than watching a parade finish.

yeah I'm not a fan of the lucky dog and I don't even understand the wave around thing but the green white checker I like.

What?..smh..That was not "Danica's" old car....A.J has since been reinstated by NASCAR and IndyCar does not do a gimmicky GWC finish.

Had to go to a wedding so I missed the last part of the Indy race. Races ending under caution really sucks. And if you are at a race and it ends under caution it really really sucks. Been to several NASCAR races that ended under caution and its a real let down. You feel robbed.

Agreed that the lucky dog sucks. The racing was far better when you had to race your way back on the lead lap.

sorry, saw the green Go daddy and just figured. I'll take gimmicky over driving 60 mph for the win. Hell they could just play music the last ten laps and whenever the music stops whoever's in the lead wins.

It was a great race and wish it had ended differently. I like the GWC finishes. It's better than finishing under caution.
